Summary

This 2015 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 represents the final chapter of the naturally aspirated flat-six era for the non-GT models, making it a highly sought-after piece for enthusiasts. With a mileage of 106,000 km, this vehicle has been driven approximately 11,000 km per year, significantly below the typical GCC average for a decade-old sports car. Finished in white, the most robust resale color in the regional market, this specific example benefits from the added stability of the Porsche Traction Management (PTM) all-wheel-drive system. It offers a perfect balance between everyday usability and the mechanical purity that modern turbocharged replacements often lack. For a buyer in the UAE, this is a chance to own a modern classic that remains perfectly suited to high-temperature city traffic and high-speed highway commutes.

This Car vs Other 2015 911s

At 106,000 km, this vehicle's usage is well below the 200,000 km+ often seen on 2015 models used as daily drivers across the GCC. The white exterior is the top-performing color for local resale value, as it reflects heat more effectively than darker tones during the peak summer months. In a market where many 911s are imported with compromised histories, this GCC-spec example ensures full compatibility with regional service centers and cooling requirements.

CARRERA 4 vs Lower Trims

The Carrera 4 adds the sophisticated PTM all-wheel-drive system, which is missing on the base Carrera, providing significantly more confidence on sand-dusted highways and during rare rainy days. Visually, the '4' trim is distinguished by a 44mm wider rear body and the iconic continuous red light strip between the taillights, features that command a premium in the used market. It bridges the gap between the base model's agility and the Turbo's planted feel without the complexity of forced induction.

911 vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Audi R8 of the same era, the 911 offers vastly superior practicality with its 2+2 seating and a front trunk suitable for daily errands. While the Aston Martin V8 Vantage leads in hand-built theater, the Porsche offers a more extensive authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, making it a far easier car to live with. Its naturally aspirated flat-six provides a more linear and immediate throttle response than contemporary turbocharged rivals from Maserati or Jaguar.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 3.4L engine averages around 8.6 L/100km, which is impressive for a high-performance coupe, though city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh will see this rise. Porsche 911s enjoy some of the slowest depreciation rates in the luxury segment, typically losing only 12–15% annually compared to 20% for rivals. Service intervals are typically every 15,000 km or 12 months, and the GCC-wide presence of Al Nabooda and Ali & Sons ensures that specialized technicians are always within reach.

Performance & Capability

The 3.4-litre flat-six delivers 350 hp, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint of just 4.5 seconds when equipped with the lightning-fast PDK transmission. The PTM all-wheel-drive system is rear-biased to maintain the classic 911 handling characteristics while ensuring maximum traction during high-speed highway overtakes. With a top speed of 282 km/h, it remains a serious performance machine that feels remarkably stable at the legal limits of the E11 or E311 highways.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin features the classic five-dial instrument cluster with a high-resolution 4.6-inch VGA display that provides real-time data on the all-wheel-drive power distribution. Despite its sports car roots, the air conditioning is engineered for the 50°C summer heat, cooling the compact cabin significantly faster than its Italian competitors. The 2+2 seating layout provides essential extra storage for long-distance trips between emirates, and the materials are chosen for durability under intense UV exposure.

Safety

This trim includes the Porsche Stability Management (PSM) system as standard, which integrates seamlessly with the all-wheel drive to prevent slides on slippery surfaces. Advanced airbag technology and a high-strength steel-aluminum composite body offer excellent protection, while the powerful bi-xenon headlights provide superior visibility on unlit desert roads. The braking system, featuring four-piston aluminum monobloc calipers, is designed to resist fade even under the thermal stress of aggressive driving in a hot climate.

The bottom line

This GCC-spec 911 Carrera 4 is the ideal choice for an enthusiast who values the mechanical purity of a naturally aspirated engine and the security of all-wheel drive. With average mileage and the market's favorite color, it represents one of the safest investments in the pre-owned sports car market today.
