Summary

This 2015 Toyota Land Cruiser 60th Anniversary edition is a rare find that combines legendary J200 durability with a collector-tier trim level. The 4.6L V8 provides the perfect balance of smooth highway cruising and the low-end torque required for serious desert exploration. As a special edition, it features unique aesthetic touches and a high level of interior equipment that keeps it competitive even against much newer rivals. For the GCC buyer, this white V8 represents the ultimate safe haven for resale value and mechanical peace of mind. Its mileage is notably low for its age, suggesting a life spent largely on well-maintained roads rather than heavy off-road use.

This Car vs Other 2015 Land Cruisers

With 122,000 km on the odometer, this vehicle has averaged roughly 13,500 km per year, which is significantly below the typical GCC average of 20,000–25,000 km. While many Land Cruisers of this vintage have already crossed the 200,000 km mark, this example offers much more remaining service life. The white exterior is the highest-demand color in the UAE and Saudi markets, ensuring the fastest possible turnaround at resale.

60TH vs Lower Trims

The 60th Anniversary edition adds several desirable features over the standard GXR, including unique commemorative badging, a front bumper spoiler with LED running lights, and chrome roof rails. Inside, it benefits from an upgraded 9-inch navigation interface and a factory-integrated rear-seat entertainment system. These features are highly prized by families in the GCC for keeping passengers comfortable during long cross-border drives.

Land Cruiser vs Segment Rivals

While rivals like the Nissan Patrol Y62 offer more modern tech, the Land Cruiser leads in long-term structural durability and secondary market liquidity. Its dual-tank system is a major advantage over the Chevrolet Tahoe for long-range desert expeditions where fuel stations are sparse. The J200's cooling system is also widely regarded as the segment benchmark for maintaining cabin temperatures in 50°C summer heat.

Running Costs & Resale

The 4.6L V8 is a robust power plant with a real-world combined fuel consumption of approximately 13.9 L/100km, making it more efficient for daily use than the larger 5.7L variants. Toyota parts are available in every corner of the GCC, from Al Futtaim in the UAE to Abdul Latif Jameel in Saudi Arabia, keeping service costs predictable. Historically, this model retains nearly 55-60% of its value even after eight years, the highest in the SUV segment.

Performance & Capability

The 304 hp V8 engine delivers a 0-100 km/h time of approximately 8.6 seconds, providing confident overtaking power on the E11 highway. Its full-time All-Wheel Drive system is paired with a low-range transfer case and selectable terrain modes, allowing it to transition from city traffic to deep sand dunes seamlessly. The heavy-duty suspension is specifically tuned to handle the high-speed corrugated tracks found throughout the region.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, this 8-seater offers a cavernous environment with a powerful multi-zone climate control system designed specifically for the Gulf's extreme climate. The 60th Anniversary trim includes premium materials and a center console large enough to house a factory-fitted cool box for beverages. Double-wishbone front suspension ensures a car-like ride quality on the road, while acoustic glass minimizes wind noise during high-speed cruising.

Safety

This trim comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including multiple airbags, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), and an advanced Crawl Control system for technical off-road descents. The inclusion of a rearview camera and blind-spot detection provides essential assistance in busy GCC city traffic. Its body-on-frame construction provides a natural safety cell that has earned the J200 series high marks for structural integrity in all conditions.

The bottom line

For a buyer seeking a low-mileage V8 legend with the prestige of a special anniversary trim, this Land Cruiser offers the perfect mix of reliability, luxury, and peerless resale protection.
