Summary

This two-door Wrangler offers a compelling combination of off-road purity and exceptionally low mileage for its age. The Pentastar V6 provides reliable power that is well-suited for both climbing dunes and maintaining pace on GCC highways. Finished in Beige, a practical color for local conditions, this SUV benefits from a smaller footprint that makes it far more maneuverable in city traffic than its four-door counterparts. For the enthusiast buyer, the Sport trim serves as a perfect blank canvas for customization while retaining Jeep's legendary mechanical durability. With just 51,000 km, this vehicle represents a rare find in a market where these workhorses are typically driven extensively.

This Car vs Other 2017 Wranglers

At 51,000 km, this vehicle is significantly below the average annual mileage for Wranglers in the GCC, which typically reach six figures by this age. The Beige exterior is a highly practical choice for the region, reflecting heat efficiently and concealing desert dust better than darker tones. Finding a two-door variant with such low usage is increasingly difficult, as many serve as high-mileage daily drivers or modified off-road rigs.

SPORT vs Lower Trims

The Sport trim provides the essential mechanical foundation that defines the Wrangler, including the Command-Trac 4WD system and high-strength Dana axles. Unlike basic entry-level SUVs in this segment, the Sport includes heavy-duty skid plates for the fuel tank and transfer case as standard. It serves as the purist's choice, omitting complex electronics in favor of mechanical reliability and ease of maintenance.

Wrangler vs Segment Rivals

Against rivals like the Toyota FJ Cruiser or Suzuki Jimny, the Wrangler leads with its superior approach and departure angles, essential for serious technical off-roading. The 3.6L Pentastar engine offers a broader power band than the Jimny, while the two-door wheelbase provides a tighter turning circle than the FJ Cruiser. It remains the only vehicle in its class with a fully removable top and doors, offering a unique open-air desert experience.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 3.6L V6 typically averages 11.8L/100km on highway drives, though this increases in stop-start city traffic or during desert excursions. Service intervals are recommended every 10,000 km, and the vast availability of parts across the UAE and wider GCC ensures maintenance costs remain manageable. The Wrangler enjoys one of the highest value retention rates in the region, particularly for low-mileage examples like this one.

Performance & Capability

The 280 hp V6 engine is paired with a robust four-wheel-drive system featuring a dedicated low-range mode for technical climbs. With a 2.72:1 crawl ratio, this SUV is designed to handle soft sand and rocky terrain with ease. Its short wheelbase and 220mm of ground clearance allow it to navigate dunes that often high-center longer vehicles. On-road, the 5-speed automatic provides smooth shifts suitable for the 140 km/h speed limits common on inter-emirate highways.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior is focused on durability, featuring easy-to-clean materials and a four-seat layout that maximizes cargo space when the rear bench is tumbled. The air conditioning system is specifically engineered to cope with high ambient temperatures, ensuring the cabin remains cool even during peak GCC summer. Despite its rugged exterior, the cabin features a standard eight-speaker audio system, providing a comfortable environment for long drives between cities.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes Electronic Stability Control (ESC) with Electronic Roll Mitigation, which is vital for maintaining composure on both loose sand and high-speed pavement. The vehicle is equipped with multistage front airbags and high-strength steel sport bars that provide structural integrity. Additionally, Hill-start Assist and Traction Control come standard, assisting drivers when navigating steep inclines or slippery surfaces.

The bottom line

This is an ideal opportunity for a buyer seeking a mechanically sound, low-mileage 4x4 that is equally capable as a weekend adventurer or a distinctive city commuter.
