Summary

This 2018 Mercedes-AMG E63 S is a masterclass in executive performance, offering a rare combination of 603-horsepower ferocity and daily-driver refinement. With mileage significantly below the GCC annual average, this white sedan represents a high-value entry into the pinnacle of the W213 generation. White remains the strongest resale color in the UAE and wider region, reflecting heat effectively while maintaining long-term market desirability. It stands out from rivals by offering the unique 4MATIC+ system with a dedicated Drift Mode, providing mechanical character that competitors often lack. For the GCC buyer, this is an opportunity to own a hand-assembled performance icon that is perfectly suited for high-speed highway cruising between emirates.

This Car vs Other 2018 E63 AMGs

With just 55,000 km on the odometer, this E63 S has covered roughly half the distance of a typical 2018 model in the GCC market, where annual use often hits 25,000 km. The white exterior is the optimal choice for the local climate, ensuring better cabin temperature management and superior resale liquidity compared to darker shades. As a genuine GCC spec vehicle, it features the factory-upgraded cooling systems required for peak performance during the extreme summer months.

S vs Lower Trims

Choosing the S trim over the standard E63 adds a significant power bump and the highly coveted Drift Mode, which allows the 4MATIC+ system to send 100% of torque to the rear wheels. It also introduces larger engine mounts and an electronically controlled rear-axle limited-slip differential for sharper cornering. Inside, the S trim typically upgrades the cabin with Nappa leather, the IWC analogue clock, and an enhanced suite of AMG-specific track telemetry.

E63 AMG vs Segment Rivals

While the BMW M5 and Audi RS6 offer similar straight-line speed, the E63 S is preferred in the GCC for its aggressive V8 soundtrack and more luxurious, screen-heavy interior. The Mercedes 9-speed MCT gearbox offers a more tactile, mechanical feel during spirited drives compared to the smoother torque converters in its rivals. Additionally, the E63 S provides a larger 66-liter fuel tank, making it a more practical choice for long-distance cross-border drives.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption typically averages 12.5 L/100km, though heavy-footed city driving in Dubai traffic will see this rise. Service intervals are set at 15,000 km or 12 months, and the Mercedes-Benz authorized network is among the most robust in the region, with centers available across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. While high-performance European sedans depreciate faster than Japanese luxury cars, the E63 S holds its value remarkably well within its segment due to the 'one man, one engine' hand-built prestige.

Performance & Capability

The 3.4-second 0-100 km/h time makes this one of the fastest four-door cars ever to grace the E11 highway. The 4.0L twin-turbo V8 produces a massive 850 Nm of torque, ensuring effortless overtaking power even at high speeds. With the AMG Driver's Package, the top speed is increased to 300 km/h, supported by an advanced air suspension system that stays composed during long, high-temperature desert drives.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for five occupants, featuring highly bolstered AMG performance seats that are both heated and ventilated to combat the GCC summer. Dual 12.3-inch displays create a seamless digital cockpit, while the Burmester surround sound system provides acoustic clarity against highway wind noise. The tri-zone climate control ensures rear passengers remain cool, a vital feature for family duties in the Middle East.

Safety

This E63 S comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including Active Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist, and the Pre-Safe system which prepares the cabin for an imminent collision. Adaptive cruise control is a standout feature for long desert highway stretches, reducing driver fatigue. The 360-degree camera system is standard, making the large executive sedan easy to maneuver in tight city parking structures.

The bottom line

For the enthusiast who needs a family-friendly sedan but refuses to sacrifice supercar performance, this low-mileage, GCC-spec E63 S in high-resale white is the definitive local choice.
