Summary

This GT2 RS represents a rare opportunity to own a virtually delivery-mileage example of what is widely considered the ultimate iteration of the 991 generation. With just 117 km on the clock, this car has been preserved in museum-grade condition, far below the typical mileage for an 8-year-old performance icon in the GCC. The silver exterior is a timeless choice that maintains exceptionally high resale liquidity in the regional market, especially for limited-production Porsche models. As the most powerful road-legal 911 of its era, it offers a level of raw driver engagement that newer, more digital competitors struggle to match. For a collector in the UAE, this is a blue-chip investment that bridge the gap between a track-focused weapon and a highly collectible asset.

This Car vs Other 2018 911s

With only 117 km recorded since 2018, this vehicle is effectively a new car, whereas most 8-year-old 911s in the GCC have covered between 40,000 and 80,000 km. The European specification ensures it meets strict global quality standards, though buyers should note the specific imported status compared to local GCC-spec units. Silver remains one of the top three most desirable colors for resale in the Emirates, ensuring long-term value protection.

GT2 RS vs Lower Trims

The GT2 RS is a radical departure from the Turbo S, adding 120 hp and utilizing rear-wheel drive for a more purist, challenging driving experience. It features extensive carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) body components, a titanium exhaust system, and Gorilla Glass windows to save weight. The chassis is entirely race-derived, featuring ball joints in place of rubber bushings for uncompromising precision that lower trims lack.

911 vs Segment Rivals

While the Ferrari 488 Pista and McLaren 720S offer similar performance, the Porsche leads with its legendary mechanical reliability and a more robust authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Its 3.8-litre flat-six is engineered for sustained high-speed runs, and the 64-litre fuel tank provides adequate range for cross-emirate highway drives. Unlike its rivals, the GT2 RS maintains a higher degree of daily usability despite its track-focused nature.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages approximately 11.8 L/100km, though this increases significantly in GCC stop-start traffic. Porsche's authorized service centers in major cities like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Riyadh provide excellent support, with major service intervals typically occurring every 20,000 km or 2 years. As a flagship RS model, this trim experiences significantly lower depreciation than standard 911s, often appreciating in value when kept in low-mileage condition.

Performance & Capability

The 700 hp output allows for a blistering 0-100 km/h time of 2.8 seconds, making it one of the fastest accelerating rear-wheel-drive cars ever built. Its Nürburgring-proven chassis features rear-axle steering and a 7-speed PDK transmission specifically beefed up to handle 750 Nm of torque. For the GCC driver, this means effortless highway overtaking and world-class stability during high-speed desert road commutes.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the cabin features lightweight carbon fiber bucket seats and Alcantara upholstery, prioritizing grip and weight saving. While it is a performance-first environment, the dual-zone climate control is highly effective for the local heat, and the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system provides modern connectivity. The 115-litre front luggage compartment offers enough space for weekend travel bags between Dubai and Muscat.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) for fade-free stopping power in high ambient temperatures. The GT2 RS also features a specially calibrated Porsche Stability Management (PSM) system with a dedicated Sport mode to assist with the car's massive rear-wheel power. Front and side airbags are standard, providing essential protection despite the car's extreme lightweight focus.

The bottom line

This is a collector-grade 911 GT2 RS with near-zero mileage, making it a premier choice for a GCC enthusiast looking for the absolute pinnacle of 991-generation performance.
