Summary

This 2019 Audi A8 LWB represents the pinnacle of executive comfort, featuring an extended wheelbase that provides class-leading rear legroom for its 7 years of age. Finished in a sophisticated blue, it offers a more discreet alternative to rivals like the S-Class while maintaining an ultra-premium cabin experience. With 63,600 km, the mileage is exceptionally low for the GCC market, where luxury sedans typically cover significantly more ground annually. The 55 TFSI powertrain is perfectly suited for regional driving, providing effortless highway cruising across the Emirates. For a buyer seeking a modern, screen-focused flagship that feels as fresh today as it did at launch, this low-mileage example is a compelling choice.

This Car vs Other 2019 A8s

With only 63,600 km on the odometer, this A8 has been driven roughly 9,000 km per year, which is significantly below the GCC average of 20,000–25,000 km. In a market where luxury flagships are often used for high-mileage executive commuting, such low usage suggests a well-preserved interior and mechanical components. The blue exterior is a sophisticated choice that holds up well under the intense Gulf sun compared to darker blacks, aiding in long-term aesthetic retention.

55 TFSI LWB vs Lower Trims

The 55 TFSI trim level provides a significant power bump over the 50 TFSI, delivering 340 hp for more confident overtaking on fast-moving UAE highways. As a Long Wheelbase (LWB) model, it includes the essential rear-seat space and sunshades that GCC buyers demand for passenger comfort during the summer months. This trim often includes the dual-screen MMI system and Bang & Olufsen audio as standard, features that lower-tier variants may lack.

A8 vs Segment Rivals

The Audi A8 competes directly with the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and BMW 7 Series, standing out with its standard Quattro all-wheel-drive system which offers superior stability on sand-dusted roads. Its cabin tech, centered around the Audi Virtual Cockpit, is often cited as more intuitive than the BMW iDrive of the same era. Additionally, the A8's understated design is preferred by GCC professionals who prioritize executive privacy over the flashier styling of its rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 3.0L V6 averages around 10.8 L/100km combined, offering a reasonable balance for city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh and long stretches of highway. While European luxury sedans typically see higher depreciation than Japanese rivals, the A8 LWB's low mileage and popular spec help it maintain a stronger residual value in the secondary market. Audi has a robust authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, ensuring parts and expert maintenance are readily available.

Performance & Capability

The 340 hp turbocharged V6 allows this large sedan to reach 100 km/h in just 5.6 seconds, ensuring it never feels underpowered during high-speed merges. The standard adaptive air suspension iron out imperfections on long desert roads, providing a 'magic carpet' ride quality even at its electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. Multiple drive modes allow the driver to sharpen the steering and throttle response for more engaging weekend drives between the Emirates.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary from the GCC heat, equipped with a powerful four-zone climate control system and high-quality leather seating for five. Passengers in the back benefit from the extended wheelbase, which provides massive legroom and a dedicated rear-seat remote to control environment and infotainment. Double-pane acoustic glass is standard on this trim, effectively sealing out road noise and exterior heat for a serene long-distance travel experience.

Safety

Safety is paramount with Audi’s Pre-Sense system, which monitors traffic and prepares the cabin for potential impacts. Standard features include a 360-degree camera for navigating tight parking in major cities, adaptive cruise control for relaxed highway journeys, and multiple airbags protecting all five occupants. The Quattro all-wheel-drive system serves as a primary active safety feature, providing consistent traction during the rare but heavy regional rainstorms.

The bottom line

For the executive buyer who values low-mileage preservation and understated German engineering, this A8 LWB is an outstanding opportunity to own a modern flagship at a fraction of its original cost.
