Summary

This 2024 Audi S3 TFSI is a compelling choice for buyers seeking modern performance in a compact, city-friendly package. With 76,000 km, the mileage is slightly above the GCC annual average but consistent with the highway-heavy driving typical of regional commuters. The Blue exterior is a sharp, professional choice that holds appeal in the local market for those moving away from standard monochrome tones. As a GCC-spec model, it is perfectly adapted for extreme heat, ensuring the cooling systems and electronics are built for the UAE climate. It offers a balanced alternative to high-strung rivals, delivering everyday luxury without sacrificing serious pace.

This Car vs Other 2024 S3s

While this S3 has covered more ground than some garage-kept examples, its 76,000 km reflect consistent use on well-maintained GCC highways, often easier on the drivetrain than stop-start city traffic. The Blue paint is a standout choice that provides a distinct presence compared to the common white or silver listings found in the UAE. Being a 2024 model, it benefits from the latest pre-facelift interior refinements, including the standard Carbon Atlas trim accents.

TFSI vs Lower Trims

The S3 TFSI significantly elevates the driving experience over the standard A3 by adding the Quattro all-wheel-drive system and a substantial power bump to 330 hp. In the GCC market, this trim is prized for its S Sport suspension and quad-tip exhaust, which provide both a visual and mechanical edge. It also features a more sophisticated three-zone climate control system as standard, an essential feature for maintaining passenger comfort during the peak of the Gulf summer.

S3 vs Segment Rivals

The Audi S3 leads its segment in interior refinement, often feeling more upscale than the BMW M135i or the Mercedes-AMG A35. Its Quattro system provides a level of high-speed stability on long desert roads that rivals find difficult to match. While others may focus on raw aggression, the S3 offers a more polished daily-driving experience with a larger focus on cabin insulation and ride quality.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this powertrain typically averages around 8.5 L/100km on combined cycles, though highway cruising between emirates can yield even better efficiency. Service intervals at authorized Audi centers in the GCC are usually set every 15,000 km or 12 months, supported by a strong network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Audi S3s maintain respectable value in the local market, typically depreciating at a rate of 12–15% annually, which is competitive for the European performance sedan segment.

Performance & Capability

The 330 hp output allows for a 0–100 km/h sprint of just 4.7 seconds, making it exceptionally quick for highway overtaking. The Quattro all-wheel-drive system ensures maximum traction even during rare rain showers or on sand-dusted road surfaces. The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission is tuned for rapid shifts in Dynamic mode, while remaining smooth and unobtrusive during daily commutes through heavy Dubai or Riyadh traffic.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is centered around a 10.1-inch MMI touchscreen and the iconic 12.3-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit, providing clear visibility even in high-glare desert sunlight. Sports seats upholstered in leather provide excellent support, while the three-zone climate control ensures that every passenger can dial in their preferred temperature. Despite its performance credentials, the cabin remains quiet and well-insulated from exterior road noise and heat.

Safety

This S3 is equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including Audi pre-sense front, which is vital for fast-moving highway traffic. Standard driver aids include lane departure warning and front and rear parking sensors with a rearview camera. The Quattro drivetrain itself acts as a primary safety feature, providing superior grip and stability control on varied road surfaces across the GCC region.

The bottom line

This 2024 Audi S3 is the ideal match for a professional looking for a fast, tech-heavy daily driver that handles the heat and the highway with equal composure.
