Summary

This 2019 Lamborghini Urus represents a balanced entry point into the world of Super-SUVs, offering supercar dynamics in a versatile five-seat package. With mileage reflecting typical light highway use between the Emirates, it remains mechanically fit for the high-performance demands of the region. The black exterior is a perennial favorite in the UAE market, ensuring strong resale interest and a timeless aesthetic. As a Super-SUV, it provides the rare ability to transition from high-speed highway cruising to urban luxury without hesitation. For a GCC buyer, ensuring the Japanese spec software and cooling components have been optimized for local temperatures is the key consideration for long-term ownership.

This Car vs Other 2019 Urus

With 65,000 km, this Urus sits well below the typical 100,000 km+ average seen for 2019 models in the UAE's high-mileage highway culture. The black finish is among the top three most requested colors in the GCC, offering a distinct advantage when it comes time to trade in or sell. Its Japanese specification often means it has lived a life of strict inspection standards before arriving in the Emirates.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

As the foundational Super-SUV, the Urus comes standard with high-tier features that are often optional on other luxury crossovers, including carbon-ceramic brakes and four-wheel steering. It includes the Tamburo driving dynamics selector with Strada, Sport, and Corsa modes, providing instant chassis adjustment. GCC buyers will appreciate that even the standard trim features the advanced 4WD system with active torque vectoring for maximum grip on variable surfaces.

Urus vs Segment Rivals

The Urus leads competitors like the Bentley Bentayga and Porsche Cayenne Turbo in outright top speed, officially clocked at 305 km/h. Its 616-litre boot space offers more practical family utility than many exotic rivals while maintaining a lighter curb weight for better agility. The 850 Nm of torque ensures it has superior mid-range overtaking power, crucial for the fast-paced traffic on the E11 and other major GCC arteries.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages approximately 12.3 L/100km combined, though city driving in heavy Dubai traffic will see this figure rise. Service intervals are typically set at 15,000 km or annually, with major maintenance due at the 60,000 km mark, which this vehicle has recently surpassed. While Japanese spec cars can see a slightly higher depreciation curve than GCC spec, their excellent initial condition often offsets this for the second owner. Authorized Lamborghini service centers are widely available in major hubs like Dubai and Abu Dhabi for specialized care.

Performance & Capability

The 3.6-second 0–100 km/h sprint places this SUV firmly in supercar territory, making highway joining effortless. Its adaptive air suspension allows the ground clearance to be raised to 248 mm, providing confidence on gravel tracks or during weekend excursions. Six selectable drive modes, including Neve (snow) and Sabbia (sand), ensure the powertrain is calibrated for the specific textures of the Gulf landscape. The standard carbon-ceramic brakes provide immense stopping power, essential for managing high speeds in extreme summer temperatures.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat cabin is insulated with acoustic glass, providing a quiet sanctuary from the heat and wind noise of the desert. Four-zone climate control ensures all passengers remain cool during the peak of the UAE summer, with dedicated vents for the rear occupants. The interior features the Lamborghini Infotainment System III with two touchscreens, managing everything from navigation to seat heating. The leather-wrapped cockpit is designed to feel like a jet fighter, balancing high-end luxury with an enthusiast-focused layout.

Safety

Standard safety tech includes a 360-degree camera system, which is vital for maneuvering a vehicle of this width in tight parking scenarios. The ADAS suite features blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, providing essential support during high-speed lane changes on multi-lane highways. Stability control and active roll stabilization work together to keep the vehicle level during spirited driving on mountain passes or winding roads.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants supercar performance with family practicality, this well-maintained Urus offers the prestige of the Italian bull with lower-than-average mileage for its year.
