Summary

This 4-year-old Lamborghini Urus presents a compelling opportunity for GCC buyers, combining iconic supercar performance with the daily usability required for regional roads. Finished in a versatile Grey that holds strong resale value in the UAE market, this example balances a respectable mileage with the durability typical of its shared high-end mechanical platform. As the model that redefined the performance crossover segment, it offers a visceral engagement that rivals often fail to match. For a GCC owner, the combination of a high-capacity cooling system and a sophisticated all-wheel-drive platform makes this a robust daily driver for both city commutes and high-speed highway runs between emirates.

This Car vs Other 2022 Urus

With 67,000 km over 4 years, this Urus has been driven approximately 16,750 km annually, which sits comfortably below the GCC average of 20,000–25,000 km. The Grey exterior is one of the most sought-after shades in the local used market, ensuring faster resale and better value retention compared to niche colors. Being a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from factory-optimized cooling systems designed to withstand local summer extremes.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

As the foundational trim for 2022, the Standard already includes high-tier equipment that GCC buyers prioritize, such as 440mm carbon-ceramic brakes and an adaptive air suspension system. It features the essential ANIMA drive selector with dedicated SABBIA (sand) and TERRA (gravel) modes, which are often absent in road-only performance SUVs. This trim provides the core Lamborghini experience without the high-maintenance matte finishes found on specific capsule editions.

Urus vs Segment Rivals

The Urus leads competitors like the Aston Martin DBX and Bentley Bentayga in sheer aggressive styling and brand prestige across the Middle East. Its 85-litre fuel tank provides a longer cruising range for cross-border trips compared to smaller-tank performance rivals. Furthermore, its mechanical synergy with the Volkswagen Group ensures a more robust parts supply chain across the GCC than bespoke boutique manufacturers.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the twin-turbo V8 typically averages 12.7 to 14.1 L/100km, depending on the balance of city stop-start traffic and highway cruising. Service intervals are generally set at 15,000 km or 12 months, and the Urus benefits from a strong authorized service network in major GCC hubs like Dubai, Riyadh, and Abu Dhabi. In the local market, the Urus maintains one of the lowest depreciation rates in the super-SUV segment due to high demand and limited supply.

Performance & Capability

With a 0–100 km/h time of just 3.6 seconds, the Urus delivers supercar-level acceleration that makes highway overtaking effortless on UAE roads. The adaptive air suspension allows for ground clearance adjustment between 158mm and 248mm, providing flexibility for both aerodynamic stability at high speeds and extra lift for light off-road terrain. The rear-axle torque vectoring and four-wheel steering ensure the vehicle feels significantly more agile than its physical size suggests.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat cabin is designed for long-distance comfort, featuring dual-screen infotainment with full smartphone integration and a digital cockpit. Standard high-performance air conditioning is specifically tuned to handle 45°C+ temperatures, ensuring rapid cabin cooling even after the car has been parked in the sun. Practicality is not overlooked, with a 616-litre boot capacity that easily accommodates family road trip luggage.

Safety

Standard safety tech for this model year includes a comprehensive ADAS suite with Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind-Spot Monitoring, and a 360-degree camera system, which are invaluable for navigating the fast-moving multi-lane highways of the GCC. The world-class carbon-ceramic braking system provides exceptional stopping power and fade resistance, a critical safety factor when managing the vehicle's 650 hp in high-temperature environments.

The bottom line

For the enthusiast who needs a practical family vehicle but refuses to sacrifice the soul of a supercar, this GCC-spec Urus offers the perfect balance of prestige, performance, and local market reliability.
