Summary

This 2019 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG is a prime example of the iconic Geländewagen, finished in White—a high-demand color that ensures excellent resale value in the GCC market. With a mileage of 79,701 km, it has been driven reasonably for its age relative to typical high-mileage highway patterns seen in the region. As the first year of the major 2019 redesign, it offers the modern widescreen cockpit and improved independent front suspension that transformed the G-Wagon's daily drivability. For a GCC buyer, the combination of its GCC regional specification and the permanent All Wheel Drive system makes it perfectly suited for both local humidity and weekend desert excursions.

This Car vs Other 2019 G63 AMGs

With just under 80,000 km, this G63 sits at an average mileage for a five-year-old luxury vehicle in the GCC, where annual averages often exceed 20,000 km. The white exterior is the most preferred color for the region's climate and consistently commands a premium in the secondary market. Being a GCC-spec model, it bypasses the warranty and cooling concerns often associated with imported American or European examples.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

As the full AMG model, the G63 adds the hand-built 585 hp V8 and the signature side-exit exhaust system that the standard G500 lacks. Inside, you benefit from the AMG-specific IWC clock, a performance steering wheel, and the RIDE CONTROL adaptive damping system. This trim also features the Panamericana grille and flared wheel arches that are essential for the model's high-status presence in the UAE.

G63 AMG vs Segment Rivals

The G63 stands alone against rivals like the Range Rover SVR and the Lamborghini Urus by offering three mechanical locking differentials for genuine off-road superiority. While the SVR focuses on luxury and the Urus on track speed, the G-Wagon provides a 100-litre fuel tank that is ideal for long-distance desert crossings between Emirates. Its upright design provides significantly more vertical cabin space and better visibility in heavy city traffic than its lower-slung competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption typically averages 13.2 L/100km, though GCC stop-start traffic can increase this; the cylinder deactivation system helps manage efficiency during highway cruising. Mercedes-Benz maintains a massive authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring parts are always readily available. The G63 has historically shown the strongest value retention of any European SUV in the GCC, typically holding over 65% of its value after five years.

Performance & Capability

The 4.0-litre biturbo V8 delivers 850 Nm of torque, enabling a blistering 0–100 km/h time of 4.5 seconds despite its boxy aerodynamics. It is equipped with a low-range transfer case (2.93 reduction) and three selectable locking differentials, making it one of the few luxury SUVs capable of tackling soft sand dunes. The 9-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT transmission is tuned for rapid highway overtaking, while the 241 mm ground clearance ensures it clears obstacles with ease.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin features the dual 12.3-inch widescreen displays and high-grade leather seating typical of the 2019 refresh. For the GCC climate, the powerful multi-zone climate control is supplemented by dedicated rear vents to ensure all five passengers remain cool in peak summer heat. Acoustic glass and improved insulation significantly reduce wind noise compared to older generations, making long drives to Oman or Liwa far more relaxing.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes a 360° camera system, which is vital for maneuvering the G-Wagon in tight urban parking. Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC and Blind Spot Assist provide peace of mind during fast-paced highway commutes between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The vehicle also features Active Lane Keeping Assist and a robust suite of airbags, maintaining its reputation for tank-like durability and passenger protection.

The bottom line

For the buyer seeking the ultimate status symbol that doesn't compromise on mechanical grit, this GCC-spec G63 AMG in high-resale white represents a secure and prestigious investment.
