Summary

This 2020 Stelvio Super offers a rare combination of Italian performance and low-mileage practicality, having covered just under 20,000 km in the GCC. The Super trim provides a significant interior upgrade over the base model, featuring premium leather upholstery and the enhanced 8.8-inch infotainment system introduced for the 2020 model year. Its vibrant Red exterior is not only the signature Alfa Romeo color but also a highly desirable choice for resale in the local market. For the UAE buyer, this represents a sharp-handling alternative to common German SUVs, blending a near-perfect 50/50 weight distribution with the security of the Q4 all-wheel-drive system.

This Car vs Other 2020 Stelvios

With only 19,295 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits well below the typical GCC annual average of 20,000 km, essentially offering a near-new mechanical state. Most 2020 models currently on the market have surpassed the 60,000 km mark, making this an exceptional find for a buyer prioritizing longevity. The Red exterior is the model's most iconic color, ensuring it stands out and retains interest better than standard monochrome options in the secondary market.

SUPER vs Lower Trims

The Super trim elevates the cabin experience over the base Stelvio with standard 18-inch wheels and a more sophisticated interior finish. Key additions include the upgraded 8.8-inch touchscreen with integrated navigation and parking sensors that are essential for navigating tight UAE mall parking. It also benefits from the 2020 mid-cycle interior refresh, which introduced a more premium center console and improved materials throughout the touchpoints.

Stelvio vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the BMW X3 or Porsche Macan, the Stelvio leads with a more communicative steering setup and a standard carbon-fibre driveshaft—a feature usually reserved for high-end supercars. It offers a generous 525-liter boot, providing more usable depth for family groceries or weekend trips to Ras Al Khaimah than several of its sportier rivals. The 400 Nm of torque ensures effortless highway overtaking on the E11 compared to the entry-level engines found in competing base trims.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.0L turbo engine averages around 7.9 to 8.9 L/100km, performing efficiently on long Abu Dhabi-Dubai commutes. Authorized service support is well-established in the UAE through Gargash Motors, with standard intervals recommended every 10,000 km or annually. While Italian cars typically see slightly higher depreciation than Japanese rivals, the exceptionally low mileage and GCC specification of this particular unit provide a strong buffer for value retention over the next three years.

Performance & Capability

The Stelvio clocks a 0–100 km/h time of just 5.7 seconds, making it one of the quickest four-cylinder SUVs available in the region. The Q4 all-wheel-drive system is rear-biased for a sporty feel but can transfer up to 50% of torque to the front wheels instantly when encountering rain-slicked roads or loose gravel. The DNA drive mode selector allows you to switch to 'Advanced Efficiency' for heavy Dubai traffic or 'Dynamic' for a sharper throttle response on winding mountain roads.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for five occupants with high-quality Italian leather seats that provide excellent lateral support for longer drives. The 2020 refresh includes a 7-inch digital driver display and a revised infotainment interface that supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Dual-zone climate control and dedicated rear air vents ensure the cabin stays pressurized and cool even during the peak of the GCC summer.

Safety

Safety is a primary focus with a 5-star Euro NCAP rating, supported by a rigid Giorgio platform and an extensive airbag suite. Standard features include Forward Collision Warning with Autonomous Emergency Braking, which is vital for high-speed highway safety. This trim also includes rear parking sensors and a high-resolution rearview camera to assist with visibility in urban environments.

The bottom line

For the enthusiast who needs a family SUV, this low-mileage Stelvio Super is the perfect bridge between Italian sports car soul and GCC daily reliability.
