Summary

This 2020 AMG GT 63 S is a formidable high-performance sedan that bridges the gap between executive transport and supercar capability. With just over 42,000 km, its mileage is significantly lower than the GCC average of 80,000 km for this age, marking it as a well-preserved example. The metallic blue finish is a sought-after choice in the region, offering better heat reflection than black while maintaining a commanding presence. As the top-tier 63 S trim, it delivers 4x4 stability and overwhelming power that rivals any dedicated sports car. For the UAE buyer, this GCC-spec model ensures absolute cooling reliability and local service history, making it a reliable investment for high-speed highway commuting.

This Car vs Other 2020 AMG GTs

At 42,522 km, this vehicle is well below the typical 100,000 km threshold often seen on GCC-market performance sedans of this year. While many units in the region have been used for heavy cross-border commutes, this example’s low mileage indicates it has likely been a second or third vehicle. The blue exterior offers a refreshing and strong resale profile compared to the more common silver or white units, appealing to collectors looking for a specific AMG aesthetic.

63-S vs Lower Trims

The 63 S is the definitive version of this model, adding 61 hp over the standard GT 63 and featuring the essential Drift Mode as standard. It upgrades the driving experience with dynamic engine mounts and an electronically controlled rear-axle limited-slip differential, which are often options or missing on lower trims. Inside, you get a higher grade of Nappa leather and the performance steering wheel, ensuring the cabin feels as premium as the engine performs.

AMG GT vs Segment Rivals

The AMG GT 63 S leads its primary rivals, the Porsche Panamera Turbo S and BMW M8 Gran Coupe, in raw visual drama and engine character. While rivals focus on clinical speed, the AMG offers a more emotive V8 soundtrack and a more aggressive stance that stands out on the Sheikh Zayed Road. Its 456-litre boot space also makes it surprisingly more practical for family trips than many European sports sedans.

Running Costs & Resale

As a GCC-spec vehicle, this car benefits from a robust authorized service network including Gargash and EMC, ensuring parts availability and technician expertise are never an issue. The 4.0L biturbo V8 is engineered for high-octane petrol common in the region, with fuel consumption averaging around 11.3L/100km on the highway. In the GCC market, the 63 S trim holds its value significantly better than the V6-powered GT 53 due to its higher desirability among enthusiasts.

Performance & Capability

With a verified top speed of 315 km/h, this is one of the fastest four-door cars ever produced. The 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system provides immense traction, allowing it to hit 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds with repeatable precision. Whether navigating Abu Dhabi highway traffic or exploring the open desert roads, the MCT 9-speed transmission and adaptive air suspension allow you to switch from a comfortable cruiser to a track-ready weapon instantly.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is tailored for the GCC climate, featuring multi-zone climate control and high-performance cooling fans that maintain comfort even in 45°C heat. It features a digital cockpit with dual 12.3-inch displays and a premium Burmester surround sound system as standard. The seating layout provides genuine space for five adults, with acoustic glass that significantly reduces road noise during long-distance drives across the Emirates.

Safety

This trim includes Mercedes-Benz's full suite of active safety technologies, featuring Active Brake Assist, Evasive Steering Assist, and Blind Spot Monitoring which are vital for multi-lane GCC highways. The 360° camera system makes parking this large sedan effortless in tight mall spaces. It is also equipped with PRE-SAFE Impulse Side, which can move passengers away from a side impact before it occurs.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity to own the highest-spec AMG GT 4-door with low mileage and a perfect GCC-ready color. It is the ideal choice for a buyer who demands supercar performance without sacrificing the utility of a family sedan.
