Summary

This 5-year-old Cadillac CT5 Sport is an exceptional find in the GCC market, showing just 5,426 km—mileage so low it effectively presents as a new vehicle. The Sport trim is the most desirable non-V configuration, replacing the standard chrome with aggressive blacked-out accents and a dedicated performance-themed interior that holds its value well locally. While many mid-sized sedans focus purely on comfort, the CT5 uses its award-winning Alpha platform to deliver a sharp, engaging drive that feels right at home on the UAE's fast-moving highways. Finished in a striking Blue that stands out from the sea of white and silver, this Japanese-spec example offers a high-tier luxury experience at a significantly more accessible price point than its European rivals. For the GCC buyer, this listing represents a rare opportunity to own a modern, low-use American sports sedan that balances daily executive commuting with genuine curb appeal.

This Car vs Other 2021 CT5s

With only 5,426 km on the odometer, this CT5 has covered less than 10% of the mileage expected for a 5-year-old car in the GCC, where annual averages typically reach 25,000 km. This ultra-low usage means the mechanical components and interior surfaces have faced minimal wear, offering a 'time capsule' quality rarely seen in the used market. The vibrant Blue exterior is a strong choice for those wanting a distinctive look, providing a refreshing alternative to standard fleet colors while maintaining good resale interest.

SPORT vs Lower Trims

The Sport trim significantly upgrades the CT5's presence over the Luxury and Premium Luxury models by adding Brembo performance front brakes, a thick-rimmed sport steering wheel with magnesium paddle shifters, and alloy pedals. Externally, it swaps chrome for a blacked-out mesh grille, dark window surrounds, and a unique rear spoiler, giving it a more aggressive stance. It also features bolstered front seats that offer superior lateral support, which is a major comfort advantage during longer drives across the Emirates.

CT5 vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the BMW 3 Series or Audi A4, the Cadillac CT5 offers a larger physical footprint, resulting in a more commanding road presence and superior front-row shoulder room. Its 10-speed automatic transmission provides more gear ratios than most rivals, ensuring smoother cruising at highway speeds of 120-140 km/h. Additionally, the Cadillac user experience (CUE) system is often cited for its intuitive physical shortcuts, which are easier to operate in stop-start city traffic than the screen-heavy interfaces found in newer European competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

The 2.0L turbocharged engine is designed for efficiency, averaging approximately 7.2 L/100km on the highway, making it an economical choice for cross-country commutes between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. As a Japanese-spec vehicle, it utilizes the same global powertrain as GCC models, though buyers should note that local dealership service contracts may differ from GCC-spec cars. Cadillac maintains a respectable service network in major UAE cities, and the CT5's shared components with other GM models ensure that parts availability remains high as the vehicle ages.

Performance & Capability

The CT5 delivers a refined 200 hp (standard 2.0T output for this region) and a punchy 350 Nm of torque, allowing it to merge into fast-moving traffic with confidence. The 10-speed automatic is a highlight, keeping the engine in its power band while providing a quiet, low-RPM experience during steady highway cruising. Built on a chassis designed for rear-wheel-drive dynamics, this Sport trim offers flat cornering and responsive turn-in that makes even routine commutes more engaging.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary of tech and high-quality materials, featuring a 10-inch HD infotainment display with wireless smartphone integration as standard. Dual-zone climate control is engineered to handle high ambient temperatures, ensuring the cabin stays cool even during the peak of a GCC summer. Acoustic laminated glass and active noise cancellation work together to provide a serene environment, shielding passengers from road and wind noise during high-speed travel.

Safety

Cadillac includes an impressive suite of safety tech standard on the Sport trim, featuring Forward Collision Alert, Front Pedestrian Braking, and the Safety Alert Seat which vibrates to warn the driver of potential hazards. The HD Rear Vision Camera is essential for navigating tight urban parking, while the Teen Driver system allows for customizable vehicle settings to encourage safe driving habits. High-strength steel construction and a comprehensive airbag system provide peace of mind for family use.

The bottom line

Perfect for the young professional or small family seeking a 'like-new' luxury experience without the new-car depreciation, this ultra-low-mileage CT5 Sport is the sharpest-looking sedan in its price bracket.
