Summary

This 2020 Maserati Quattroporte S is a compelling find for those seeking Italian performance with a low-mileage advantage, showing just 57,000 km over 6 years. Finished in white, the most favored resale color in the GCC, this executive sedan offers a distinct alternative to the common German luxury rivals by pairing Ferrari-sourced engine DNA with an elegant road presence. The S trim brings significant power and suspension upgrades that make it the sweet spot of the lineup for self-drivers in the UAE. For a local buyer, the combination of its verified GCC spec and below-average mileage makes it a prime candidate for high-speed highway commuting and professional use alike.

This Car vs Other 2020 Quattroportes

With only 57,000 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been driven significantly less than the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average seen in the GCC market. At 6 years old, most local examples would sit closer to the 120,000 km mark, giving this specific car a mechanical longevity advantage. The white exterior further secures its position as a strong investment, as it remains the highest-demand color for used luxury buyers in the region.

S vs Lower Trims

The S trim is a major step up from the base model, moving from 350 hp to a more potent 430 hp output while adding the Skyhook adaptive damping system as standard. GCC buyers will appreciate the inclusion of the 10-speaker Harman Kardon premium audio system and soft-close doors, features often missing on entry-level specifications. It also includes the full driver assistance package, which is essential for managing fast-moving traffic on the E11 and other major regional highways.

Quattroporte vs Segment Rivals

The Maserati leads the BMW 7 Series and Mercedes S-Class in terms of engine character and emotional appeal, utilizing a V6 designed and built by Ferrari in Maranello. Its 80-liter fuel tank provides a substantial range for long cross-border drives to Oman or Saudi Arabia. While rivals focus on digital screens, the Quattroporte offers a more traditional Italian luxury feel with higher-grade leather and a driver-centric chassis that feels more agile on the road.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this twin-turbo V6 averages approximately 9.6 L/100km on the highway, though GCC city traffic will see this rise toward 14.5 L/100km. Service intervals are set every 20,000 km or 12 months, and Maserati has established a strong authorized service presence across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. While European luxury sedans typically depreciate by 12–18% annually in the local market, a GCC-spec Quattroporte with low mileage maintains a higher floor than imported American or European examples.

Performance & Capability

The Quattroporte S delivers a top speed of 288 km/h, ensuring effortless high-speed cruising across the Emirates. The 8-speed ZF automatic transmission provides seamless shifts, while the Skyhook suspension allows the driver to toggle between a supple highway ride and a firm, sporty setting for more engaging drives. Even as a front-engine sedan, the weight distribution is tuned to provide the balanced handling Maserati is known for.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a masterclass in Italian craftsmanship, featuring premium leather upholstery and an 8.4-inch Maserati Touch Control Plus system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For the GCC climate, the air conditioning system is robust, and this trim includes high-quality cabin insulation to keep heat and road noise out during peak summer months. Rear legroom is generous, comfortably accommodating three adults for long-distance travel.

Safety

Standard safety features on this trim include Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, which is invaluable for the daily Dubai-Abu Dhabi commute. It also comes equipped with Blind Spot Alert, Lane Keeping Assist, and a 360-degree surround-view camera to assist in navigating tight parking spaces. The 2020 model year also features Forward Collision Warning Plus, providing an extra layer of protection during high-speed highway driving.

The bottom line

Perfect for the executive who wants Ferrari-inspired soul in a professional package, this low-mileage, GCC-spec Maserati is the smartest way to stand out from the luxury sedan crowd in the UAE.
