Summary

This 2021 Infiniti QX80 in White offers a compelling combination of V8 muscle and executive-level comfort, making it a standout choice for those needing a dependable family hauler. As the Luxe Sensory Proactive trim, it carries high-tier features like ventilated front seats and a Bose premium sound system that GCC buyers actively prioritize. While this is an American spec vehicle, it remains a mechanically robust SUV capable of handling long highway stretches between emirates with ease. For a buyer looking for a full-size Japanese luxury SUV that holds its road presence better than smaller crossovers, this listing represents a high-specification opportunity.

This Car vs Other 2021 QX80s

With 132,000 km, this vehicle has seen regular use typical for a GCC-based commuter, where annual mileage often reaches 25,000 km due to highway-heavy driving between major cities. The White exterior is the most sought-after color in the regional used market, offering superior heat reflection and the strongest resale value retention. While American spec imports can show higher mileage than local dealer cars, this specific trim level offers a equipment list that often exceeds base-model GCC specs.

LUXE SENSORY PROACTIVE vs Lower Trims

The Sensory Proactive trim is a significant step up from the base Luxe, adding essential GCC comfort features such as ventilated front seats and an advanced Tri-Zone climate control system. It also upgrades the cabin experience with a 17-speaker Bose Performance Series audio system and semi-aniline leather-appointed seating. Crucially for the region, this trim includes the Hydraulic Body Motion Control system, which significantly reduces body roll during highway cornering and improves ride quality on uneven surfaces.

QX80 vs Segment Rivals

The Infiniti QX80 leads rivals like the Lexus LX and Cadillac Escalade in terms of pure V8 reliability and a simpler, more durable mechanical layout. Its 98-litre fuel tank is specifically advantageous for long-distance desert drives, offering a highway range that competes strongly with the Nissan Patrol. The QX80 provides more generous second-row legroom than many European luxury SUVs, making it a preferred choice for families with older children or those using a chauffeur.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 5.6L V8 typically averages around 15.1 L/100km combined, with highway efficiency improving during long cruises across the GCC. Maintenance is supported by a wide network of specialized service centers in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, as the QX80 shares many mechanical components with the ubiquitous Nissan Patrol. As an American spec vehicle, it depreciates approximately 12–15% annually in the local market, offering a more accessible entry price compared to GCC-spec equivalents while maintaining high parts availability.

Performance & Capability

The naturally aspirated 5.6-litre V8 produces a verified 400 hp and 560 Nm of torque, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint of 7.5 seconds—impressive for a vehicle of this scale. It offers a braked towing capacity of up to 3,856 kg, making it ideal for hauling boats or trailers to the coast. The 7-speed automatic transmission is tuned for smooth highway overtaking, providing the effortless power needed for fast-moving traffic on the E11 or E311.

Comfort & Cabin

This 7-seater configuration features second-row captain's chairs, creating a luxurious 'VIP' feel and easier access to the third row. The cabin is designed for the Gulf summer, featuring high-output air conditioning and ventilated front seats to combat extreme heat. Noise insulation is a hallmark of this trim, utilizing acoustic glass to maintain a quiet environment during high-speed highway travel, even in windy desert conditions.

Safety

This trim comes equipped with the ProActive safety suite, which includes Intelligent Cruise Control and Blind Spot Intervention—both essential for safe navigation on multi-lane GCC highways. The 360-degree Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection makes parking this large SUV in tight urban spaces significantly easier. Standard safety features also include Lane Departure Prevention and Predictive Forward Collision Warning, providing comprehensive protection for all seven passengers.

The bottom line

Perfect for a growing family or an executive needing a powerful, high-spec SUV that balances luxury with proven Japanese mechanical durability. This Luxe Sensory Proactive edition offers the best of Infiniti's comfort features at a price point that reflects its American spec status.
