Summary

This Infiniti QX60 LUXE offers a refined 7-seat experience, combining Japanese reliability with premium cabin appointments. Finished in Grey, a color known for its strong resale demand in the GCC, this SUV provides a sophisticated alternative to mainstream family haulers. While the mileage reflects active use, its robust 3.5L V6 engine is engineered for longevity and consistent performance on long-distance hauls between the Emirates. As a GCC-spec model, it features superior cooling systems designed specifically for the region's intense summer heat. It remains one of the most balanced luxury crossovers for families who prioritize technology and daily usability.

This Car vs Other 2023 QX60s

With 163,000 km, this vehicle has covered significantly more ground than the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual GCC average, making it an entry point for buyers seeking a newer generation model at a more accessible price point. The Grey exterior is a highly practical choice for the region, hiding desert dust well and maintaining strong market desirability. Mechanically, these highway kilometers are often less taxing on the suspension and transmission than stop-start urban traffic.

LUXE vs Lower Trims

The LUXE trim is a substantial step up from the base Pure model, adding essential 20-inch alloy wheels and the advanced ProPilot Assist system for easier highway cruising. It upgrades the interior with a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a 360-degree Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, which is invaluable for parking in tight city spaces. You also gain remote engine start, a critical feature for cooling the cabin before entry during the GCC summer.

QX60 vs Segment Rivals

The QX60 leads rivals like the Lexus RX350 and Audi Q7 by offering a more generous 74-litre fuel tank, reducing the frequency of stops on cross-border drives. Its naturally aspirated V6 provides a smoother, more linear power delivery than the smaller turbocharged engines found in many European competitors. Additionally, the QX60 features an exceptionally easy-access third row, allowing passengers to enter without removing a child seat from the second row.

Running Costs & Resale

Infiniti benefits from one of the strongest authorized service networks in the GCC, ensuring parts availability from Dubai to Muscat. The 3.5L V6 is a proven powertrain with predictable maintenance costs, typically requiring service every 10,000 km in the UAE. While this specific mileage may lead to faster initial depreciation, the QX60 generally retains roughly 60% of its value at the three-year mark in the local market. Real-world fuel economy averages 11.6 L/100km, which is competitive for a heavy, all-wheel-drive 7-seater.

Performance & Capability

The 279 hp V6 engine enables a 0–100 km/h sprint in 8.7 seconds, providing ample power for confident highway overtaking. Paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission, it delivers a more refined and quieter ride at cruising speeds than previous CVT-equipped generations. The Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system automatically redistributes power for stability on gravel tracks or during occasional rain-slicked road conditions. Five distinct drive modes—including Sport and Snow—allow the driver to tailor throttle response to the immediate environment.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary of quiet, featuring acoustic glass to isolate passengers from highway wind noise. The three-row layout comfortably accommodates seven, with dedicated rear climate control vents ensuring all passengers stay cool in 45°C temperatures. A panoramic moonroof adds an airy feel to the Graphite-themed interior, while the LUXE trim's leather-appointed seating provides long-distance comfort. The theater-style seating ensures that even third-row passengers have a clear view forward, reducing motion sickness on winding roads.

Safety

Safety is comprehensive with the standard ProPilot Assist suite, including Lane Departure Prevention and Blind Spot Intervention, which are essential for fast-moving multi-lane highways. The vehicle is equipped with Predictive Forward Collision Warning that can sense the speed of two cars ahead, providing an extra margin of safety. Rear Automatic Braking and a 360-degree camera system come standard on this trim, ensuring total awareness in congested school zones or busy shopping mall parking lots.

The bottom line

This GCC-spec QX60 LUXE is an ideal choice for a growing family that needs a modern, tech-rich luxury SUV with a proven mechanical pedigree. It offers the latest generation design and safety features at a competitive value due to its highway mileage.
