Lamborghini Huracan EVO

Highlights

• 0–100 km/h in 2.9 seconds
• 640 hp from a naturally aspirated V10
• Top speed of 325 km/h

Summary

This 2021 Huracan EVO represents a significant buying opportunity in the GCC market, offering exceptionally low mileage for a vehicle that is five years old. Finished in Grey, a color that consistently performs well for resale in the region, this EVO trim delivers the full-fat 640 hp output and advanced aerodynamics that set it apart from the standard models. The naturally aspirated V10 provides a raw, mechanical soundtrack that is increasingly rare among modern supercars. For the GCC owner, this car excels on the UAE's high-quality highways and offers the cooling capacity required for the summer months. It is an ideal entry for those seeking the quintessential Italian supercar experience without the wait for a new factory order.

This Car vs Other 2021 Huracans

With just 14,000 km on the odometer, this Huracan has been driven roughly 2,800 km per year, which is far below the typical 20,000 km annual average seen in the GCC. This low usage suggests a car that has spent more time in climate-controlled storage than on the highway, preserving the integrity of its interior and mechanical components. The Grey exterior is a highly desirable shade in the local market, ensuring it remains a liquid asset compared to more niche or experimental colors.

EVO vs Lower Trims

The EVO trim brings the formidable 640 hp engine from the track-focused Performante into a more usable package. Unlike the base RWD models, this EVO features a sophisticated All-Wheel Drive system and Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata (LDVI), a central brain that predicts the driver’s next move. It also adds rear-wheel steering and torque vectoring, technologies that are not standard on lower Huracan variants, significantly enhancing high-speed stability on coastal highway sweeps.

Huracan vs Segment Rivals

When compared to rivals like the Ferrari F8 Tributo or McLaren 720S, the Huracan EVO stands out for its legendary naturally aspirated V10, while its competitors have shifted to turbocharging. Its AWD system provides a level of daily-driver security and traction on sandy road surfaces that rear-drive competitors struggle to match. Furthermore, the Huracan benefits from a shared parts bin with Audi, ensuring better long-term reliability and more accessible service support across the GCC compared to more boutique British or Italian brands.

Running Costs & Resale

The Huracan EVO has a combined fuel consumption of approximately 13.7 L/100km, though city driving in heavy Dubai or Riyadh traffic will see this figure rise. It requires high-octane 98 RON fuel to maintain peak performance. Service intervals are typically every 15,000 km or annually, and with authorized service centers well-established across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, professional maintenance is easily accessible. Historically, the EVO retains its value better than earlier Huracan models due to its updated tech and status as one of the final pure V10 Lamborghinis.

Performance & Capability

Performance is headlined by a 0–100 km/h sprint of 2.9 seconds, a figure that places it in the top tier of production supercars. The 5.2-liter V10 engine is mid-mounted for perfect weight distribution, providing razor-sharp turn-in for track days at the Dubai Autodrome. With a top speed of 325 km/h and multiple drive modes—Strada, Sport, and Corsa—the car can transform from a refined highway cruiser to an aggressive circuit weapon at the flick of a steering-wheel-mounted switch.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the EVO features a redesigned center console with an 8.4-inch HMI touchscreen that manages everything from climate control to Apple CarPlay. Despite being a focused supercar, the cabin is well-insulated and the air conditioning is engineered to handle the 45°C+ temperatures common in the GCC summer. The two-seat cockpit is trimmed in premium materials, providing a luxury environment for long-distance drives between Emirates.

Safety

Safety is managed through a high-performance carbon-ceramic braking system as standard, offering immense stopping power even after repeated high-speed use. The car features a comprehensive electronic stability control system and multiple airbags tailored for the mid-engine chassis. Standard front and rear parking sensors and a high-definition rearview camera are essential additions that make navigating tight city parking and underground garages in major GCC cities much safer.

The bottom line

This is a pristine, low-mileage example of one of the last great naturally aspirated supercars, perfect for a collector or an enthusiast looking for a reliable and high-performing Italian icon in the GCC.
