• 138-litre dual fuel tank capacity

Summary

This 2021 Signature Black Edition represents a unique opportunity for a GCC buyer, offering an exceptionally rare combination of ultra-low mileage and the final production year of the legendary 5.7L V8 powertrain. The green exterior provides a distinctive look in a market dominated by white and black, while maintaining the high resale prestige associated with limited-run Lexus editions. As a GCC-spec flagship, it is purpose-built to handle the region's extreme heat with superior cabin cooling and mechanical robustness that rivals simply cannot match. For those seeking the ultimate blend of desert capability and executive luxury, this low-distance example is effectively a new car from the most desirable era of the LX lineage.

This Car vs Other 2021 LX570s

With just 1,120 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been driven significantly less than the typical 20,000 km annual average seen in the GCC market. While most 2021 models are now approaching their first major service milestones, this example remains in near-showroom condition. The green exterior is a standout choice that adds character while remaining within the high-demand palette for premium SUVs in the region.

SIGNATURE BLACK EDITION vs Lower Trims

The Signature Black Edition elevates the LX570 beyond the standard Signature trim with exclusive dark-chrome exterior accents, a unique spindle grille design, and 21-inch black alloy wheels. Inside, it adds bespoke semi-aniline leather upholstery and specialized trim finishes not found on the Platinum or Prestige models. It also comes standard with the 19-speaker Mark Levinson audio system and dual rear entertainment screens, features that are often optional on lower configurations.

LX570 vs Segment Rivals

When compared to rivals like the Cadillac Escalade or Range Rover, the LX570 leads in long-distance range thanks to its 138-litre dual-tank system, essential for cross-border GCC travel. Its body-on-frame construction and Toyota-sourced mechanicals offer a level of desert durability that monocoque competitors cannot duplicate. The cooling system is widely regarded as the most effective in the segment, maintaining ice-cold cabin temperatures even during peak UAE summer afternoons.

Running Costs & Resale

The naturally aspirated 5.7L V8 is a robust workhorse, typically consuming approximately 16.8L/100km in combined GCC driving conditions. Service intervals are every 10,000 km, supported by the most extensive authorized service network in the region, including Al Futtaim and Al Sayer, ensuring high parts availability. The LX570 historically boasts some of the strongest value retention in the Middle East, often retaining over 65% of its value after three years of ownership.

Performance & Capability

The 5.7L V8 engine delivers a smooth 381 hp and 544 Nm of torque, providing linear power that is ideal for both highway overtaking and navigating soft sand dunes. Its sophisticated full-time 4WD system features a TORSEN limited-slip center differential and Multi-Terrain Select to adapt to gravel, rock, or deep sand. The Active Height Control (AHC) allows the driver to increase ground clearance at the touch of a button, ensuring the vehicle can clear obstacles that would stop road-biased luxury SUVs.

Comfort & Cabin

This eight-seater configuration offers a versatile layout with power-folding third-row seats that stow away to maximize cargo space. The cabin is equipped with four-zone climate control and ventilated seats for both front and second-row passengers, specifically designed for the Middle Eastern climate. Acoustic glass and extensive insulation provide a serene environment, shielding occupants from road noise during long drives between Emirates.

Safety

Standard safety features include the Lexus Safety System+, which provides Pre-Collision System with pedestrian detection and All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control for effortless highway cruising. The 360-degree Panoramic View Monitor is particularly useful for navigating tight parking spaces in Dubai or Riyadh, while 10 airbags provide comprehensive protection for all three rows of passengers.

The bottom line

This is the definitive choice for a collector or family buyer who wants the peak of the V8 LX570 era in a condition that is virtually indistinguishable from new. It offers the perfect balance of rarity, regional reliability, and the peace of mind that comes with a GCC-spec vehicle.
