Tesla Model 3 LONG RANGE

Highlights

• 0–100 km/h in 4.4 seconds
• 614 km electric range (WLTP)
• 250 kW peak DC charging standard

Summary

This GCC-spec Long Range AWD offers a significant step up in capability and efficiency, featuring the larger 82 kWh battery pack and dual-motor performance. With mileage at 59,000 km, it sits well below the typical GCC annual average of 20,000 km, representing a well-preserved example for its year. The Pearl White finish is the most sought-after resale color in the region, offering superior heat reflection during UAE summers. This model remains a benchmark for electric sedans, providing a seamless blend of long-distance range and sports-car acceleration. For a buyer looking to transition to electric in the GCC, this trim provides the necessary range for inter-emirate travel without frequent charging stops.

This Car vs Other 2021 Model 3s

At 59,000 km, this vehicle has been driven roughly 19,000 km per year, which is lower than the typical 25,000 km average seen on UAE highways. Being a GCC-spec model, it ensures full compatibility with local Tesla Superchargers and regional software updates. The white exterior is a strategic choice for the local market, maintaining higher value retention and keeping cabin temperatures lower than darker alternatives.

LONG RANGE vs Lower Trims

The Long Range trim adds a second motor for All-Wheel Drive, significantly improving grip on sandy or rain-slicked roads compared to the RWD Standard Range. It also features the Premium Audio system with 14 speakers and a subwoofer, alongside a much larger battery that provides nearly 150 km of additional range. Interior upgrades include floor mats and heated rear seats, which are often absent in the base models.

Model 3 vs Segment Rivals

The Model 3 leads rivals like the BMW i4 and Polestar 2 in charging infrastructure accessibility via the extensive Tesla Supercharger network across the UAE and Oman. Its software-first approach offers superior over-the-air updates that frequently add new features, a clear lead over traditional luxury competitors. The dual-motor AWD system provides more immediate torque and a lower center of gravity, ensuring a more planted feel during high-speed highway commuting.

Running Costs & Resale

Maintenance costs are exceptionally low, with Tesla recommending simple cabin filter changes and tire rotations every 20,000 km. There are no oil changes or spark plugs to service, and the regenerative braking system significantly extends the life of brake pads. While European EVs can depreciate up to 18% annually in the GCC, the Model 3 Long Range typically sees a more stable 12-14% curve due to high demand for used Tesla units. Authorized service centers are well-established in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, providing reliable long-term support.

Performance & Capability

With a 0–100 km/h time of 4.4 seconds, this sedan delivers performance that rivals many dedicated sports cars on the E11. The dual-motor All-Wheel Drive system ensures precise power distribution, making it incredibly stable during quick overtakes. Top speed is officially rated at 233 km/h, providing ample headroom for regional highway limits while maintaining composed handling.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is centered around a 15-inch touchscreen that controls everything from the dual-zone climate system to the glass roof's tinting. For the GCC climate, the pre-conditioning feature allows you to cool the cabin to 20°C via the mobile app before you even enter the car. The minimalist interior provides generous legroom for five adults, and the all-glass roof is UV-treated to protect passengers from the intense desert sun.

Safety

This trim comes standard with Tesla’s full Autopilot suite, including eight cameras providing 360-degree visibility and twelve ultrasonic sensors. Key safety features include Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Avoidance, and Blind Spot Monitoring, which are vital for navigating fast-moving multi-lane traffic in Dubai and Riyadh. It holds a 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating, making it one of the safest sedans on the road today.

The bottom line

This is a low-mileage, GCC-spec Long Range AWD in the region's best resale color, making it the ideal choice for a daily commuter who values tech and range.
