Summary

This Audi RS3 offers a distinctive blend of compact agility and supercar-rivaling acceleration, thanks to its award-winning 5-cylinder powertrain. With a mileage of 75,170 km over 4 years, it sits slightly below the typical GCC annual average of 20,000–25,000 km, signaling a well-maintained road history. The Green exterior is a bold, high-impact choice that stands out in a market dominated by grayscale, often appealing to enthusiasts who prioritize individual spec. As a GCC-spec model, it benefits from a cooling system and interior materials designed to withstand the extreme summer heat, ensuring long-term cabin durability. For a buyer seeking the ultimate daily-drivable performance sedan, this RS3 presents a balanced opportunity with the reliability of a local service history.

This Car vs Other 2022 RS3s

With 75,170 km on the odometer, this vehicle has covered roughly 18,792 km per year, which is notably lower than the GCC average of 25,000 km for a car of this age. This below-average usage suggests less wear on the mechanical components and the Quattro all-wheel-drive system. The Kyalami Green finish is a signature RS color that carries strong enthusiast appeal and maintains a dedicated following in the UAE used market.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

As the top-tier performance variant, the RS3 adds the torque-splitting rear differential, which is not available on the A3 or S3, providing significantly sharper handling on twisty roads. Inside, the trim upgrades the experience with RS-specific Nappa leather sport seats and the full 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit with performance-focused displays. It also features a larger 10.1-inch MMI touch screen and a more robust braking system to handle the 400 hp output.

RS3 vs Segment Rivals

The RS3 leads the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 S and BMW M2 in engine character, utilizing a unique 5-cylinder configuration that offers a distinct acoustic profile. Its standard Quattro all-wheel-drive system provides superior traction for high-speed highway stability compared to rear-wheel-drive competitors. Additionally, the RS3 is often cited for having a more compliant ride quality, making it the more comfortable choice for daily commuting between Emirates.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.5 TFSI engine averages approximately 8.2 L/100km on combined cycles, though city driving in stop-start traffic will see higher figures. Audi’s authorized service network is extensive across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with recommended service intervals every 15,000 km. In the GCC market, the RS3 demonstrates better value retention than larger luxury sedans, typically depreciating at 12–15% annually due to its niche enthusiast status.

Performance & Capability

The standout figure is the 3.8-second 0–100 km/h time, which allows this sedan to out-accelerate many dedicated sports cars. The 500 Nm of torque is delivered across a broad rev range, providing effortless overtaking power on high-speed motorways like the E11. Multiple drive modes, including an RS Torque Rear mode, allow the driver to customize the car's behavior from a stable all-weather commuter to a track-focused machine.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for the GCC climate with a powerful dual-zone automatic climate control system and high-quality insulation that keeps the interior cool during peak summer months. The five-seat layout offers surprisingly practical legroom for a compact sedan, while the premium Nappa leather seats provide excellent lateral support. Standard acoustic glass helps reduce wind and road noise, ensuring a refined environment even at highway speeds.

Safety

Safety is comprehensive with Audi’s Pre-Sense suite, which includes forward collision warning and emergency braking as standard. For GCC highways, the blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic assist are vital for navigating multi-lane traffic safely. The Quattro system acts as a proactive safety feature, constantly adjusting power to each wheel to maintain grip on dusty or oil-slicked road surfaces.

The bottom line

This GCC-spec RS3 is the perfect pick for a driver who wants supercar performance in a practical, dealer-maintained sedan that has stayed below typical local mileage limits.
