Summary

This Changan CS75 Plus Limited stands out as a high-specification choice in the GCC crossover market, offering a blend of modern aesthetics and impressive technology. With its White exterior, it holds a significant resale advantage as the most sought-after color for the region's climate and secondary market. The Limited trim represents the top of the range, providing premium features that rival luxury European brands while maintaining the practicality of a 5-seater SUV. Its 233-horsepower engine provides a punchy driving experience suited for both fast-moving city highways and long-distance travel between emirates. For a buyer looking for a contemporary SUV with high equipment levels and strong regional support, this model is a compelling alternative to established rivals.

This Car vs Other 2022 CS75 Pluses

With 95,000 km over 4 years, this vehicle sits at the expected average for GCC driving habits, where long-distance commutes are routine. The White exterior is a strategic advantage in the local used market, typically commandeding a premium and selling faster than darker shades due to its heat-reflective properties. Being a GCC-spec model, it ensures full compatibility with local service centers and regional climate-proofing that imported models may lack.

LIMITED vs Lower Trims

The Limited trim is a significant step up from the Trend and Smart variants, most notably adding essential GCC comforts like ventilated front seats and a panoramic sunroof. It also upgrades the safety profile with a full ADAS suite including Adaptive Cruise Control and a 360-degree camera system. Inside, you benefit from a larger 12-inch digital cockpit and an upgraded audio system that provides a much more premium cabin experience than the base models.

CS75 Plus vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the Toyota RAV4 or Honda CR-V, the CS75 Plus offers significantly higher tech-per-dirham, featuring standard equipment like 360-degree cameras that are often optional on rivals. Its 2.0-liter turbocharged engine delivers more raw power than most entry-level competitors in its class, making it more capable for high-speed highway overtaking. Additionally, its 620-liter boot capacity leads many in the compact SUV segment, offering superior family utility.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this 2.0T powertrain typically ranges between 8.1 and 9.0 L/100km, which is competitive for a vehicle of this size in GCC stop-start traffic. Changan has built one of the most robust authorized service networks for Chinese brands in the region, with extensive coverage across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. While Chinese brands generally face steeper initial depreciation than Japanese mainstays, the CS75 Plus has shown stronger value retention at the 4-year mark due to its growing reputation for reliability.

Performance & Capability

The 233 hp 2.0-liter turbocharged engine is the highlight here, paired with a smooth 8-speed automatic transmission that is well-regarded for highway cruising. It delivers a solid 390 Nm of torque, ensuring the car never feels underpowered even when fully loaded with passengers and cargo. While it is a front-wheel-drive road-biased SUV, its high ground clearance makes it perfectly suitable for gravel tracks and weekend escapes to suburban parks or beach-side camping spots.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is tailored for the GCC summer, featuring standard ventilated front seats and a high-output dual-zone climate control system with dedicated rear vents. The interior uses premium leather materials and features multi-color ambient lighting to enhance the evening driving experience. With a flat rear floor design, the second row offers genuine comfort for three adults, making it an ideal choice for family road trips between Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Safety

The Limited trim comes equipped with a comprehensive safety package, including front, side, and curtain airbags as standard. Its active safety technologies are particularly useful for local driving, featuring blind-spot monitoring for busy multi-lane highways and autonomous emergency braking for city traffic. The 360-degree camera and automatic parking assist provide added confidence in tight urban parking spaces common in major GCC cities.

The bottom line

For a buyer who wants a feature-packed SUV that looks and feels premium without the price tag of a luxury brand, this well-maintained GCC-spec Limited trim is an excellent opportunity.
