Summary

This 2022 Jeep Wrangler Sport is a prime example of the iconic off-roader, showing just 41,317 km after four years of use—significantly below the typical GCC annual average. The bright Yellow exterior is a high-visibility, high-demand choice that maintains excellent resale value among desert enthusiasts in the UAE and Saudi markets. As a GCC-spec 2-door model, it offers the ideal short-wheelbase configuration for technical dune driving while benefiting from a cooling system built for extreme summer heat. For a buyer looking to balance daily urban commuting with serious weekend adventure, this low-mileage V6 represents one of the most mechanically sound entries into the Wrangler lifestyle available today.

This Car vs Other 2022 Wranglers

With a total mileage of 41,317 km, this vehicle has been driven approximately 10,000 km per year, which is less than half of the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average seen across the GCC. While many used Wranglers of this age have already seen extensive modifications, this unit retains its factory-correct setup, ensuring a cleaner mechanical history. The bold Yellow paint is a classic Jeep enthusiast color that avoids the rapid heat absorption of darker tones while remaining a sought-after 'lifestyle' color for local resale.

SPORT vs Lower Trims

The Sport trim serves as the essential foundation for the Wrangler lineup, providing the heavy-duty Dana solid axles and skid plate protection that define the model's durability. In the GCC market, this Sport trim includes the 7-inch Uconnect touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a critical modern convenience often missing from base-spec import versions. It focuses on mechanical purity, omitting the electronic complexities of higher trims to provide a more reliable, workhorse-like experience in sandy environments.

Wrangler vs Segment Rivals

Compared to rivals like the Toyota FJ Cruiser or Ford Bronco, the Wrangler remains the only choice offering a fully removable roof and doors for a true open-air experience. Its short-wheelbase 2-door design provides a superior break-over angle and turning circle compared to larger SUVs like the Nissan Patrol, making it far more agile in tight wadi crossings or steep dunes. The 3.6L Pentastar V6 is a regionally proven engine with a massive parts and service network that few specialized off-roaders can match.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 3.6L V6 averages around 11.4 L/100km on highway drives between Emirates, though stop-start city traffic in Riyadh or Dubai will see this rise. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it is fully supported by authorized service centers like Al Futtaim or United Motors, ensuring parts availability and warranty-friendly servicing across the region. Wranglers historically enjoy some of the slowest depreciation rates in the Middle East, typically retaining a high percentage of their value even after 5 years due to their cult-like following.

Performance & Capability

The 285 hp V6 provides linear power delivery that is essential for maintaining momentum in deep sand, where turbocharged rivals can sometimes struggle with heat management. The Command-Trac 4WD system features a 2.72:1 low-range ratio, giving you the crawling torque needed for rocky terrain or recovery situations. With a maximum ground clearance of 246 mm and heavy-duty steel skid plates, this SUV is factory-ready for the UAE's most demanding desert trails.

Comfort & Cabin

The 4-seat interior is designed for durability, featuring easy-to-clean materials and drain plugs in the floor for washing out sand after a weekend trip. The air conditioning system is specifically tuned for the GCC climate, providing rapid cabin cooling even when outside temperatures exceed 45°C. Despite its rugged exterior, the cabin remains tech-forward with a digital trip computer and a clear 8-speaker audio system for long highway cruises.

Safety

Safety is managed by a suite of active and passive systems including Electronic Roll Mitigation and Stability Control, which are vital for maintaining composure on loose gravel or high-speed highway lanes. The ParkView rear back-up camera provides high-resolution visibility for navigating tight urban parking or checking obstacles on the trail. Front and side airbags come standard, alongside heavy-duty disc brakes with ABS for reliable stopping power in all conditions.

The bottom line

Perfect for the weekend adventurer who wants a low-mileage, GCC-spec icon that holds its value as well as it holds the dunes. This 2-door V6 is a rare, clean-history find in a market where many 4-year-old Jeeps have already been heavily modified.
