Summary

This 2022 Nautilus Reserve is a sophisticated choice for GCC buyers, offering a significant power advantage with its twin-turbo V6 over the common 2.0L variants. With mileage sitting comfortably below the typical 100,000 km expected for a four-year-old vehicle in this region, it represents a well-preserved example of American luxury. The Grey exterior is a highly practical and popular choice in the UAE, effectively masking dust while maintaining strong resale appeal. Standing out with its 'sanctuary' cabin philosophy, it provides a more relaxed, quiet alternative to the firmer rides of European rivals. For a buyer in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, this Nautilus delivers the perfect balance of highway cruising power and refined summer comfort.

This Car vs Other 2022 Lincoln Nautiluses

At 55,399 km, this vehicle has been driven significantly less than the 80,000–100,000 km typically seen on four-year-old SUVs in the GCC market. While many listings feature the entry-level 2.0L engine, this Reserve trim carries the more robust 2.7L V6, which is better suited for maintaining effortless speeds on long highway stretches between emirates. The Grey exterior is one of the most resilient colors for the local climate, holding its value better than niche shades.

RESERVE vs Lower Trims

The Reserve trim is a substantial step up from the Standard model, most notably adding ventilated front seats which are essential for GCC summers. It also upgrades the cabin with genuine leather upholstery and real wood accents, while replacing the standard sunroof with a full Panoramic Vista Roof. Tech-wise, it gains a hands-free power liftgate and the superior Revel audio system, providing a much more premium ownership experience.

Nautilus vs Segment Rivals

The Nautilus leads competitors like the Cadillac XT5 and Lexus RX in cargo versatility, offering a generous 997 litres of boot space that handles family shopping and luggage with ease. Its twin-turbo V6 provides a smoother, more linear power delivery compared to the turbocharged four-cylinders often found in European rivals like the Audi Q5. The focus on acoustic glass and active noise cancellation ensures a quieter cabin during high-speed highway commutes.

Running Costs & Resale

The 2.7L V6 AWD powertrain returns a real-world combined average of approximately 11.2 L/100km, with highway efficiency benefiting from the 8-speed automatic during long-distance drives. Lincoln has a reliable authorized service presence across the UAE and wider GCC, with standard service intervals recommended every 10,000 km. While American luxury SUVs typically depreciate faster than Japanese equivalents, the Reserve trim with GCC specs retains value well due to its high equipment level and desirable powertrain.

Performance & Capability

With 335 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque, this Nautilus offers confident acceleration and effortless overtaking power on fast-moving highways like E11. The Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system provides excellent stability during sudden rain showers or when traversing gravel paths to weekend retreats. The adaptive suspension, standard on this trim, constantly monitors the road to maintain a composed, level ride regardless of the load.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat cabin is designed as a 'sanctuary' from the heat, featuring a high-output climate control system and ventilated seats that are a must-have for the region. Rear passengers enjoy dedicated air vents and generous legroom that exceeds several class rivals, making it ideal for family trips. The 13.2-inch SYNC 4 touchscreen provides seamless wireless connectivity, ensuring navigation and media are easily accessible during cross-emirate drives.

Safety

Equipped with the Lincoln Co-Pilot360 suite, this Nautilus includes blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, which are invaluable for navigating multi-lane GCC highways. The Reserve trim often includes the Plus package, adding a 360-degree camera and adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality to reduce driver fatigue in heavy Dubai traffic. These active systems, combined with a robust airbag arrangement, earned the model high safety marks for occupant protection.

The bottom line

For the executive or family buyer who prioritizes comfort and overtaking power over sporty stiffness, this low-mileage V6 Reserve is a rare find in the current market.
