Summary

This 2022 Brabus G800 represents the peak of custom SUV performance, offering a massive power increase over the standard G63 that is highly coveted in the GCC market. With just 15,238 km, this low-mileage example has barely begun its life, especially considering the robust nature of the Mercedes-AMG foundation. The grey exterior is one of the most stable colors for resale in the region, pairing perfectly with the aggressive Brabus Widestar body kit. As a European spec vehicle, it benefits from high initial build standards, though local buyers should ensure their service provider is equipped for the specialized Brabus performance components. For the driver who finds the standard AMG too common on Dubai's roads, this G800 offers unmatched presence and mechanical superiority.

This Car vs Other 2022 G63 AMGs

With approximately 15,000 km on the odometer, this G800 has significantly lower mileage than the typical GCC annual average of 20,000–25,000 km. While many 2022 G-Wagons have already surpassed the 50,000 km mark, this example remains in collector-grade condition. The grey finish is a top-tier choice for the region, offering better heat management than black while maintaining higher resale demand than brighter, more niche colors.

BRABUS G800 vs Lower Trims

The Brabus G800 conversion elevates the G63 from a production performance SUV to a bespoke masterpiece, adding 215 hp and 150 Nm of torque over the factory engine. Beyond the power, this trim features the Widestar carbon fiber body kit, 24-inch forged wheels, and a custom valve-controlled sports exhaust that provides a far more aggressive acoustic profile. Inside, the cabin is often upgraded with finer leathers and carbon fiber elements that surpass the standard AMG interior catalog.

G63 AMG vs Segment Rivals

While rivals like the Lamborghini Urus or Bentley Bentayga Speed offer high-speed cruising, the G800 maintains the G-Class's legendary triple-locking differential system, ensuring it remains more capable off-road. It leads the segment in vertical presence and road authority, offering a commanding driving position that is preferred for navigating heavy GCC highway traffic. The Brabus tuning ensures it matches the raw acceleration of dedicated performance crossovers while retaining its iconic body-on-frame durability.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages approximately 14.8 L/100km, though this will increase in stop-start city traffic in Riyadh or Dubai. Service intervals for the AMG base are typically every 15,000 km, though the high-performance Brabus components benefit from more frequent inspections. While European spec vehicles are common, value is best maintained by using authorized service centers in the UAE or KSA that specialize in German performance imports. The G800 historically holds a higher percentage of its premium over the base G63 due to its limited production nature.

Performance & Capability

The G800 produces a staggering 1,000 Nm of torque, allowing this heavy SUV to reach 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds—a feat that makes highway overtaking effortless. Its top speed is electronically limited to 240 km/h to accommodate the vehicle's unique aerodynamics and tire ratings. Despite the performance focus, the permanent all-wheel drive and high ground clearance ensure it can handle weekend desert excursions and soft sand as effectively as any luxury 4x4.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat cabin is designed for ultimate summer comfort, featuring high-capacity ventilation in the front seats and a powerful multi-zone climate control system essential for the GCC heat. Acoustic glass helps isolate the interior from the roar of the side-pipe exhaust during long highway cruises between emirates. The integrated MBUX infotainment system is paired with a premium Burmester surround sound system, providing a high-tech sanctuary amidst the raw power of the V8 engine.

Safety

Standard safety features include a 360-degree camera system, which is vital for maneuvering the widened body in tight urban parking. Active Driver Assistance systems like Blind Spot Assist and Active Lane Keeping provide peace of mind during fast-paced highway driving. The vehicle's heavy-duty construction and comprehensive airbag suite offer high levels of passive protection for all occupants.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity to own a low-mileage, 800-horsepower icon that stands out in the UAE's most competitive luxury segment. It is the perfect acquisition for the collector who demands supercar performance without sacrificing the iconic status of the G-Wagon.
