Summary

This 2022 Porsche Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo represents a unique opportunity to own a high-performance electric vehicle that balances supercar speed with the everyday utility of a shooting brake design. With its current mileage reflecting a careful ownership profile well below the GCC annual average, this Korean-spec model stands out as a meticulously maintained example of Porsche's electric engineering. The white exterior is a strategic choice for the Gulf region, offering the highest thermal efficiency under the sun and ensuring the strongest possible resale demand in the secondary market. As a Turbo trim, it provides a massive performance leap over the 4S models, making it a compelling alternative for those who find the standard sedan too restrictive in terms of cargo space. In the GCC market, where electric infrastructure is rapidly expanding, this model offers a silent, powerful, and futuristic driving experience that standard internal combustion rivals cannot match. This specific listing is particularly strong for buyers who want the pinnacle of EV craftsmanship without the immediate depreciation hit of a brand-new showroom delivery.

This Car vs Other 2022 Taycans

At approximately 32000 km, this Taycan has been driven roughly 16000 km per year, which is significantly lower than the 20000 to 25000 km average typically seen on the high-speed highways of the UAE and Saudi Arabia. While most 2022 models in the region are starting to approach the 50000 km mark, this example remains in a more pristine mechanical state, suggesting a life spent on shorter commutes rather than cross-emirate transit. The white exterior finish is the most preferred color in the GCC used car market, as it reflects heat better than darker tones and hides small desert sand abrasions effectively, which helps maintain a higher valuation over time. Being a Korean-spec vehicle, it offers a high standard of interior equipment often mirrored in premium Asian markets, though buyers should note it may have different pre-configured software settings compared to local GCC dealership units. Overall, the lower-than-average mileage and popular color configuration make this one of the more desirable 2022 variants currently available.

TURBO CROSS TURISMO vs Lower Trims

The Turbo Cross Turismo trim is a significant escalation from the 4S or base Cross Turismo models, primarily focused on raw power and chassis sophistication. While lower trims are incredibly capable, the Turbo introduces an overboost power delivery that allows for blistering acceleration that rivals dedicated supercars. Beyond the motor output, this trim level standardizes high-end equipment that is often optional on the 4S, such as the Porsche Surface Coated Brakes (PSCB) and more advanced torque vectoring systems which are essential for managing the car's weight through corners. In the context of the GCC climate, Turbo models often come with higher-tier thermal management systems to keep the battery and motors cool during performance runs in high ambient temperatures. You also get a more refined interior ambience with extended leather and premium materials as standard, whereas lower trims frequently feature more basic synthetic finishes. Choosing this trim ensures you are at the upper echelon of the Porsche EV hierarchy, second only to the Turbo S, but with a more compliant ride quality for daily use.

Taycan vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the Tesla Model S or the Audi e-tron GT, the Porsche Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo leads the segment in build quality and driving dynamics. While the Tesla may offer a slightly longer theoretical range, the Porsche’s 800-volt architecture allows for faster consistent charging at supported GCC fast-chargers, meaning less time spent waiting at stations during trips between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Unlike the Audi e-tron GT, the Cross Turismo body style provides vastly superior rear headroom and much more versatile boot space, making it a more practical choice for a family of five. Furthermore, the Porsche brand carries a higher prestige and better historical value retention in the Middle East compared to newer EV brands. Even against high-performance petrol sedans like the BMW M5, this Porsche offers a level of instant torque and cabin serenity that makes it a more relaxing and technologically advanced long-distance cruiser.

Running Costs & Resale

Running costs for this electric powerhouse are remarkably low compared to a petrol-managed Turbo Porsche, as it eliminates the need for expensive oil changes, spark plug replacements, and fuel filter services. In the GCC, where electricity costs remain competitive, the cost per kilometer is a fraction of what a luxury V8 sedan would demand, especially in heavy urban traffic in Riyadh or Dubai. While this is a Korean-spec car, Porsche has a wide authorized service network across the UAE and the wider GCC, though it is always recommended to verify if international warranty extensions are active for non-local specs. Depreciation for high-end EVs is maturing in the region; while European luxury cars generally see a 12-18% annual dip, the Taycan’s iconic status and the high demand for the versatile Cross Turismo body help it sit at the more favorable end of that spectrum. The 32022 km reading suggests that the initial steep depreciation curve has already flattened, providing the next owner with a more stable investment than a brand-new purchase.

Performance & Capability

The standout figure for this machine is its 0-100 km/h time, which is achieved in well under 4 seconds, providing an organ-shifting rush of acceleration that is accessible instantly at any speed. This performance is perfectly suited for the fast-paced driving of the UAE's E11 highway, allowing for effortless overtaking and seamless merging. The 'Cross Turismo' designation isn't just for show; it features a unique 'Gravel' mode and a slightly higher ride height than the standard sedan, giving it better clearance over speed bumps and the ability to handle light gravel paths during weekend getaways to the Hajar Mountains. Its Four Wheel Drive system uses dual electric motors to provide millisecond-accurate traction control, which is incredibly useful during the infrequent but heavy rainstorms in the region that can make roads unexpectedly slick. With its automatic two-speed transmission on the rear axle, it manages to deliver both incredible off-the-line thrust and efficient high-speed cruising performance.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the Taycan offers a five-seat configuration with a driver-centric cockpit that feels like a spaceship, yet remains ergonomically familiar to any Porsche enthusiast. The cabin is exceptionally well-insulated from the exterior heat of the Gulf summer, and the air conditioning system is engineered to maintain peak performance even when the outside temperature exceeds 45°C. This trim typically includes ventilated seats, a feature that is practically a necessity for year-round comfort in the GCC, ensuring long drives stay pleasant. The Burmester or Bose audio systems standard on these trims provide an immersive acoustic experience that isn't interrupted by engine noise, creating a tranquil environment for the morning commute. Rear passengers in the Cross Turismo benefit from the 'elongated' roofline which provides significantly more headroom than the sedan, making it comfortable even for taller adults on long-distance trips.

Safety

Safety is paramount in a vehicle capable of such immense speed, and Porsche has equipped this model with a comprehensive suite of active driver assistance systems. Features like adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist are particularly valuable for reducing fatigue on long desert stretches between cities. Given the fast-moving traffic on GCC motorways, the blind-spot monitoring and advanced emergency braking systems provide an essential extra layer of protection. This car was designed to meet the highest global safety standards, including 5-Star ratings, ensuring that the structural integrity of the battery housing and the cabin frame protects all five occupants. The inclusion of high-performance LED matrix lights also ensures maximum visibility during nighttime highway drives where street lighting may be limited.

The bottom line

For the tech-forward executive or family looking to transition to electric power without sacrificing the legendary Porsche driving experience, this low-mileage Turbo Cross Turismo is the perfect choice. It offers a rare combination of supercar performance and wagon-like utility, all while being one of the most stylish and heat-efficient configurations for the GCC market.
