Summary

This 2022 VXR represents the pinnacle of the Land Cruiser 300 series, offering a sophisticated balance of twin-turbo power and high-end luxury. With just over 22,000 km, this vehicle is barely broken in by GCC standards, where these engines are known to reliably cross the 300,000 km mark. The Black exterior is a perennially strong resale choice in the region, holding its value exceptionally well compared to rivals. As a top-tier GCC-spec model, it is purpose-built to handle the extreme summer heat with upgraded cooling and superior cabin insulation. For the serious buyer, this listing offers a near-new flagship experience with the peace of mind of local dealer support and parts availability.

This Car vs Other 2022 Land Cruisers

With only 22,104 km on the odometer, this vehicle’s usage is significantly below the GCC annual average of 20,000–25,000 km. Most 2022 models in the market have already surpassed 45,000 km, making this a rare low-mileage opportunity. The black-on-black aesthetic remains one of the most liquid configurations for resale in the UAE and Saudi markets.

VXR vs Lower Trims

The VXR trim adds the essential Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) and E-KDSS, which provide a significantly more composed ride on-road compared to the GXR. Inside, you benefit from a larger 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a 14-speaker JBL premium audio system, and ventilated seats for both the front and second rows—a critical feature for GCC summers.

Land Cruiser vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Nissan Patrol, the Land Cruiser 300’s twin-turbo V6 offers a more modern, torque-rich power delivery that is better suited for high-speed highway overtaking. Its 110-litre fuel capacity outclasses many European luxury rivals, making it the preferred choice for long-distance cross-border drives. Furthermore, the Land Cruiser’s specialized Crawl Control system remains the benchmark for technical desert navigation.

Running Costs & Resale

The 3.5L twin-turbo petrol engine averages approximately 12.1 L/100km in mixed GCC driving conditions, offering better efficiency than the previous generation V8. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km, and Toyota’s vast authorized network ensures expert maintenance is available in every major GCC city from Muscat to Kuwait City. Historically, the VXR trim retains roughly 85-90% of its value after three years in the local market.

Performance & Capability

The 409 hp engine delivers a verified 0–100 km/h time of approximately 6.7 seconds, offering surprising agility for a 7-seat SUV. A 235 mm ground clearance and 700 mm wading depth ensure it is fully capable of weekend desert expeditions. The 10-speed automatic transmission is specifically tuned to keep the engine in its peak torque band for effortless towing and sand-dune climbing.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for family expeditions, featuring a genuine 7-seat layout with power-folding third-row seats. The VXR's high-output air conditioning system is engineered to maintain a chilled environment even when external temperatures exceed 45°C. Standard rear-seat entertainment screens and a cooled center console box ensure passenger comfort during long drives between the Emirates.

Safety

This VXR comes equipped with the full Toyota Safety Sense suite, including Pre-Collision System, Lane Tracing Assist, and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control. The 360-degree camera system provides essential visibility for parking in tight urban spaces, while multiple airbags and a high-strength TNGA platform earned this model a 5-star ANCAP safety rating. Blind-spot monitoring is standard, providing critical safety during fast-paced highway commuting.

The bottom line

For the GCC buyer seeking the ultimate blend of prestige and rugged durability, this low-mileage VXR is the definitive choice for both city presence and desert capability.
