Summary

This GCC-spec sedan offers an ideal entry into the flagship G70 generation, balancing executive presence with efficient inline-six power. As a three-year-old vehicle with average mileage for the UAE market, it presents a stable value proposition compared to the higher-depreciating V8 variants. The white exterior remains the most sought-after resale color in the region, ensuring better liquidity when it is time to upgrade. Choosing this trim provides the striking M Sport aesthetic without the higher running costs of the 740i or 760i, making it a pragmatic choice for the daily executive commute.

This Car vs Other 2023 BMW 735is

With 69,000 km over three years, this car sits comfortably within the average annual mileage range of 20,000–25,000 km typically seen for executive sedans in the GCC. The white exterior is a strategic advantage, as it is the highest-demand color in the local used market and helps deflect the intense summer heat. Its GCC specification ensures full compatibility with local fuel grades and authorized service center support across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

M SPORT vs Lower Trims

The M Sport package significantly elevates the 735i over the base Excellence trim by adding the aggressive Shadowline exterior trim, M-specific front and rear aprons, and larger alloy wheels that fill the arches more effectively. Inside, you receive the M leather steering wheel and unique interior trim finishers that provide a more driver-centric feel. This trim is highly preferred by private buyers in the GCC who want the flagship's presence with a sportier edge.

735i vs Segment Rivals

The 735i competes directly with the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and the Audi A8, leading its segment in terms of digital integration and chassis agility. While rivals focus on traditional luxury, the BMW G70 platform offers a more futuristic cabin with the Curved Display and Interaction Bar as standard. The 3.0L inline-six is widely regarded as more reliable and easier to maintain in high-temperature environments compared to the complex V8 engines found in segment competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Fuel efficiency is a highlight, with a WLTP-rated 7.9 L/100km, which translates well to long-distance highway cruising between Emirates. BMW's Condition Based Servicing (CBS) typically requires maintenance every 10,000 to 12,000 km, supported by an extensive network of authorized centers like AGMC and Abu Dhabi Motors. While European luxury sedans see a depreciation of roughly 15% annually in the GCC, the M Sport trim helps this model retain value better than base-spec equivalents.

Performance & Capability

The 286 hp inline-six engine provides a smooth 0–100 km/h sprint of 6.7 seconds, offering ample power for confident highway overtaking on the E11 or E311. The 48V mild-hybrid system assists with low-end torque, ensuring the two-tonne sedan remains responsive in stop-start city traffic. It maintains a governed top speed of 250 km/h, delivering the high-speed stability and refinement expected of a German flagship.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary from the GCC summer, featuring a high-performance multi-zone climate control system and ventilated seating. This generation introduced the BMW Curved Display, which houses the latest iDrive system for seamless navigation and media control. Acoustic glazing ensures the interior remains quiet even at highway speeds, while the ample rear legroom makes it suitable for both family duties and professional transport.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on the M Sport includes an advanced ADAS suite with Front Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, and a 360° camera system for navigating tight parking spaces. The Active Protection system prepares the cabin if a collision is imminent, and the standard blind-spot monitoring is particularly effective on fast-moving, multi-lane UAE highways. Stability control and multiple airbags provide comprehensive protection for all five occupants.

The bottom line

For the UAE executive seeking the latest G70 styling and technology with manageable running costs, this GCC-spec 735i M Sport is a well-maintained and market-aligned opportunity.
