Summary

This 2023 Cadillac Escalade V-Series represents the absolute peak of American luxury performance, finished in the highly desirable Black-on-Black configuration which holds strong resale value in the GCC. With mileage under 50,000 km, this vehicle has been driven well within the typical annual averages for the region and remains in its prime mechanical window. It stands apart from standard SUVs by combining three-row family utility with a hand-built supercharged powertrain normally reserved for track-focused sedans. For a GCC buyer, the most important consideration is the sheer presence and overtaking power this SUV provides on long cross-country highways like the E11 or Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road. This is a rare opportunity to own a GCC-spec example of the most powerful production Escalade ever built.

This Car vs Other 2023 Escalades

With approximately 47,840 km, this Escalade has been driven roughly 24,000 km per year, which is perfectly aligned with the GCC average for luxury family haulers. The black exterior is a perennial favorite in the UAE and Saudi markets, ensuring easier liquidity and stronger value retention than brighter or niche colors. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from the regional cooling upgrades and local Cadillac service history that American-spec imports often lack.

V SERIES vs Lower Trims

The V-Series is a significant leap over the Sport Platinum trim, replacing the standard 420 hp engine with a hand-built 682 hp supercharged V8. It features exclusive performance hardware including 6-piston Brembo front brakes, an active exhaust system with quad tips, and V-Mode driving software. Inside, it adds unique V-Series motifs and comes standard with the full Platinum-level luxury suite, including massaging semi-aniline leather seats and the immersive 36-speaker AKG sound system.

Escalade vs Segment Rivals

The Escalade V-Series competes directly with the Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 and the BMW Alpina XB7, leading both in total display real estate with its 38-inch curved OLED screen. While European rivals focus on high-speed cornering, the Escalade offers superior third-row legroom and a larger fuel tank for long-distance desert cruising. Its road presence is unmatched in the segment, offering a level of scale and American muscle that German competitors cannot replicate.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the supercharged 6.2L engine typically ranges between 18.6 L/100km combined and up to 22 L/100km in heavy GCC city traffic. Cadillac's authorized service network is extensive across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, with recommended oil service intervals every 10,000 km. While high-performance SUVs face steeper initial depreciation than standard models, the V-Series' status as a halo car helps it maintain a price floor better than mid-tier trims in the secondary market.

Performance & Capability

The headline figure is the 680 hp output, which propels this 2.8-ton SUV to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds. Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 and Air Ride Adaptive suspension work together to keep the vehicle flat during high-speed highway changes while soaking up road imperfections. The full-time all-wheel-drive system and electronic limited-slip differential ensure that all 885 Nm of torque translates into immediate forward motion, whether merging into fast-moving traffic or navigating light gravel tracks.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary of tech and leather, featuring seven seats with second-row captain's chairs for an executive travel experience. GCC summers are handled easily by the high-output tri-zone climate control system and standard ventilated front seats. Acoustic laminated glass and active noise cancellation ensure the cabin remains quiet even at highway speeds, allowing the 36-speaker AKG audio system to deliver studio-quality sound to every passenger row.

Safety

Safety is comprehensive with Cadillac’s full ADAS suite, including Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist, Lane Change Alert, and Blind Zone Steering Assist. The 360-degree HD Surround Vision camera is essential for maneuvering this large SUV in tight urban parking, while the Safety Alert Seat provides haptic feedback to the driver for immediate hazard awareness. Standard Adaptive Cruise Control and Front Pedestrian Braking provide additional peace of mind during long highway drives across the Emirates.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants the ultimate expression of power and prestige without sacrificing seven-seat practicality, this GCC-spec V-Series is the definitive choice. It is a meticulously maintained, high-performance icon that is ready for immediate delivery.
