Ford Transit 250 HIGH ROOF Cargo Van | GCC Specs | Automatic | Petrol | Ready For Export

Highlights

• 1,602 kg maximum payload
• 11.4 cubic metres cargo volume
• 2,404 kg braked towing capacity

Summary

This 2023 Ford Transit 250 High Roof is a standout professional tool, featuring incredibly low mileage that effectively presents it as a nearly new vehicle in the GCC market. Its Oxford White exterior is the preferred choice for local commercial use, ensuring maximum heat reflection and strong resale demand across the Emirates. With the High Roof configuration, you gain significant vertical room that allows for adult-height standing inside the cargo area, a major advantage over standard-roof rivals. The 3.5L V6 engine provides a reliable balance of power and durability, essential for handling the heavy payloads and long-distance hauls common between GCC logistics hubs. Given the extremely low use, this listing offers a rare opportunity to acquire a work-ready van with a near-perfect mechanical baseline.

This Car vs Other 2023 Transits

With just over 1,700 km on the odometer, this Transit has significantly lower mileage than the typical 25,000 km annual average for commercial vehicles in the GCC. This low usage preserves the suspension and drivetrain, offering a buying advantage usually reserved for brand-new units. The Oxford White finish remains the most practical and high-demand color for fleet resale in the region.

250 HIGH ROOF vs Lower Trims

The High Roof trim provides a massive increase in vertical storage compared to the Low or Medium roof variants, allowing for easier loading of tall equipment and a more comfortable mobile workspace. As a 250-series, it offers a strengthened chassis and higher GVWR over the 150-series, translating to a more capable payload for heavy-duty business requirements.

Transit vs Segment Rivals

The Ford Transit leads the Toyota Hiace in vertical cargo height and volume, making it superior for bulky deliveries or mobile workshops. While the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is a close competitor, the Transit offers a more cost-effective maintenance network across the GCC, with parts being more widely available in both major cities and remote areas.

Running Costs & Resale

The 3.5L naturally aspirated V6 is designed for longevity and is compatible with standard petrol grades found across UAE and KSA filling stations. Service intervals are typically scheduled every 10,000 km, and Ford’s extensive authorized network ensures reliable support throughout the GCC. In the local market, the Transit 250 maintains a steady resale value, benefiting from its reputation as a durable fleet workhorse.

Performance & Capability

The V6 engine delivers a verified 275 hp, providing confident highway merging even when fully loaded. Its rear-wheel-drive configuration is preferred for heavy hauling, ensuring better traction when the cargo area is at capacity. With a braked towing capacity of 2,404 kg, it easily handles trailers, making it a versatile asset for contracting or logistics businesses.

Comfort & Cabin

The three-seat front cabin is designed for long hours on the road, featuring durable upholstery and high-output air conditioning optimized for the extreme GCC summer heat. The High Roof provides over 2 metres of interior standing height, which is a game-changer for those converting the van into a service vehicle or mobile office. Dedicated storage bins and a functional dashboard layout cater specifically to professional drivers.

Safety

Safety is managed by a suite of systems including Electronic Stability Control and Side Wind Stabilization, which is particularly vital for the High Roof profile on exposed desert highways. Standard safety equipment includes front and side airbags for all three occupants, alongside Hill Start Assist to prevent rolling when fully loaded on inclines.

The bottom line

This is an ideal acquisition for a GCC-based business looking for a high-capacity, heavy-duty van that is mechanically fresh and ready for immediate deployment.
