Summary

This 2023 Infiniti QX55 in the mid-range Essential trim offers a compelling balance of low mileage and executive features for the UAE market. Its sleek crossover-coupe silhouette stands out from traditional SUVs, providing a more athletic presence on the road while retaining the practicality of all-wheel drive. The Grey exterior is a high-demand, high-resale choice in the GCC, effectively masking road dust and maintaining its premium look even in high-heat conditions. For a buyer looking for a modern, tech-focused luxury vehicle with the peace of mind of GCC specifications, this listing is a standout opportunity.

This Car vs Other 2023 QX55s

With just over 60,000 km, this QX55 has been driven slightly less than the typical 25,000 km annual average seen on UAE highways, keeping its mechanical life well within the ideal window. The Grey exterior is one of the most resilient colors for the GCC climate, offering excellent heat reflection and better resale liquidity compared to niche colors. As a GCC-spec model, it features the factory-upgraded cooling systems required for local summers, a critical differentiator over imported American-spec alternatives.

ESSENTIAL vs Lower Trims

The Essential trim provides a significant leap in luxury over the base Luxe model, most notably adding ventilated front seats which are indispensable for GCC summers. It also upgrades the cabin experience with a 16-speaker Bose Performance Series audio system and a 360-degree Around View Monitor for easier parking in tight city spaces. Additionally, the Essential trim includes factory-fitted navigation and rain-sensing wipers, features often absent on lower-tier configurations.

QX55 vs Segment Rivals

The QX55 competes directly with the BMW X4 and Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe, offering a more unique Variable Compression (VC-Turbo) engine that balances power and efficiency more dynamically than its German rivals. While competitors often charge extra for advanced driver assistance, the Infiniti comes standard with a robust suite of safety tech. Its 762-liter boot space is also particularly generous for the coupe-SUV segment, providing better family utility for weekend road trips.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel economy is rated at approximately 10 km/L combined, though highway cruising between Emirates can yield better efficiency thanks to the variable compression technology. Infiniti maintains a strong authorized service network across the UAE and the wider GCC, with standard service intervals typically scheduled every 10,000 km. The QX55 follows a predictable luxury depreciation curve, though the Essential trim's high feature-density helps it retain value better than base models in the local used market.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0L VC-Turbo engine is the star of the show, delivering 268 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque, which provides effortless overtaking power on fast-moving UAE highways. All-wheel drive comes standard, ensuring stable handling during sudden rain showers or when traversing gravel-packed tracks on weekend escapes. The continuously variable transmission is specifically tuned for smoothness, prioritizing a refined cabin experience during daily commutes through stop-start Dubai or Riyadh traffic.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat cabin is focused on executive comfort, featuring leather upholstery and a dual-screen infotainment system that keeps navigation and media controls separate. GCC-specific comfort is prioritized with powerful dual-zone climate control and dedicated rear vents to ensure all passengers stay cool during peak summer months. The acoustic laminated glass reduces wind noise significantly, making long-distance desert drives remarkably quiet and fatigue-free.

Safety

This QX55 Essential is equipped with a comprehensive safety suite, including Predictive Forward Collision Warning that can monitor two vehicles ahead—a vital feature for high-speed highway driving. It also features Blind Spot Intervention, Lane Departure Prevention, and Rear Automatic Braking as standard. The 360-degree Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection provides maximum visibility, ensuring safety in both high-speed traffic and crowded urban parking environments.

The bottom line

For the GCC buyer seeking a stylish, tech-forward crossover that doesn't compromise on summer comfort, this low-mileage Essential trim QX55 represents the sweet spot of value and luxury.
