Summary

This 2023 Infiniti QX60 represents an exceptional opportunity for buyers seeking a near-new premium SUV with significantly lower mileage than the typical GCC annual average of 25,000 km. Finished in a high-demand white exterior, it offers the strongest possible resale value protection within the regional market, as white remains the preferred choice for heat reflection and aesthetic longevity. This LUXE trim provides a substantial tech and comfort upgrade over base models, featuring advanced driver assistance and a more refined cabin environment. Compared to European rivals, this Japanese-engineered SUV offers a superior balance of luxury features and predictable long-term reliability that GCC owners value. The 3.5L V6 engine provides a robust naturally aspirated power delivery that is perfectly suited for the wide, fast-moving highways of the UAE and Saudi Arabia. For a GCC buyer, the combination of a valid regional specification and low usage makes this a secure investment for both family comfort and future trade-in value.

This Car vs Other 2023 QX60s

With just 16,707 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits well below the average mileage expected for a 2023 model in the GCC, where long-distance commutes often push annual figures past 20,000 km. While many listings in the pre-owned market show higher wear from cross-emirate travel, this specific unit retains the tight mechanical feel and pristine interior condition of a showroom floor model. The white exterior is a strategic advantage in our region; not only does it keep the cabin significantly cooler during the peak summer months of July and August, but it also commands the highest demand in the used car market, ensuring a faster and more profitable resale later. Buyers looking at other 2023 options will find that few match this specific combination of low wear and regional suitability. It represents a 'goldilocks' zone for value—depreciation from the initial purchase has already occurred, yet the car remains in its prime operational window.

LUXE vs Lower Trims

Stepping up to the LUXE trim from the base PURE variant transforms the daily driving experience through several key additions that are highly prized by UAE drivers. This trim introduces the ProPILOT Assist system, which is a game-changer for the heavy traffic found on Sheikh Zayed Road or the long stretches between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. You also gain a 360-degree Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, making parking this large SUV in tight mall spaces significantly easier. Inside, the LUXE trim upgrades the seating and climate experience, often including ventilated front seats which are an absolute necessity for staying comfortable during GCC summers. The aesthetic is further enhanced with larger, more premium alloy wheels and additional chrome detailing that gives the car a more commanding presence on the road. It essentially bridges the gap between a standard family hauler and a true executive luxury vehicle.

QX60 vs Segment Rivals

When compared to segment rivals like the Lexus RX or the Cadillac XT6, the Infiniti QX60 stands out for its unique blend of Japanese reliability and a more modern, tech-forward interior layout. While European competitors often require high-octane fuel and specialized maintenance, the QX60’s 3.5L V6 is a proven workhorse that handles the extreme heat and dusty conditions of the GCC with remarkable resilience. Its cabin space is designed with a focus on 'omotenashi' hospitality, providing a more intuitive and user-friendly interface than the sometimes-complex German infotainment systems. Furthermore, the QX60 offers a smoother, more cushioned ride quality that is specifically tuned for highway cruising, making it a more relaxed long-distance companion than sportier, stiffer rivals. The fuel tank capacity is generous, ensuring fewer stops on cross-border trips to Oman or Saudi Arabia, giving it a practical edge for the regional lifestyle.

Running Costs & Resale

Owning an Infiniti in the GCC is a calculated financial move, as the brand benefits from one of the most robust service networks in the region, including extensively equipped centers in all major UAE cities and across the Saudi kingdom. The 3.5L engine is remarkably efficient on the highway, averaging roughly 9.0L to 10.5L per 100km, though city driving in stop-start Riyadh or Dubai traffic will see that figure rise slightly. Unlike some luxury brands that suffer from steep 18% annual depreciation, the QX60 typically holds its value better, hovering around a 10-12% annual depreciation rate due to its reputation for longevity. Parts are readily available through both authorized dealers and reputable specialized shops, which keeps long-term maintenance costs predictable. This specific GCC-spec model also avoids the insurance and warranty hurdles often associated with American or European imports, ensuring that your investment remains protected and easy to trade in when the time comes.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this SUV is its 3.5-liter V6 engine, which delivers a smooth and linear power curve that makes overtaking on the E11 highway effortless. Mated to a refined 9-speed automatic transmission, the powertrain avoids the 'rubber-band' feel of older CVTs, providing a crisp and engaging drive whether you are navigating city streets or cruising at 120 km/h. While this is a Front Wheel Drive configuration optimized for fuel efficiency and urban paved roads, the high ground clearance remains beneficial for navigating speed bumps and occasional gravel paths leading to beach spots or desert campsites. The steering is light at low speeds for easy maneuvering but weights up nicely at higher speeds to provide confidence during windy conditions on open desert roads. It is a vehicle designed for stability and poise, ensuring that all passengers feel secure regardless of the distance traveled.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior of the LUXE trim is a masterclass in ergonomic design, featuring a high-resolution 12.3-inch touchscreen and a premium Bose audio system that creates a concert-like atmosphere, effectively masking exterior road noise. For the GCC climate, the air conditioning system is exceptionally powerful, featuring independent zones and rear cooling vents that ensure every passenger stays chilled even when external temperatures hit 50°C. The cabin is insulated with acoustic glass to provide a serene environment, shielding occupants from the roar of highway traffic. This specific 4-seat configuration emphasizes executive-level comfort, providing ample shoulder and legroom that rivals the interior space of much larger, more expensive SUVs. Materials throughout the cabin, from the soft-touch dashboard to the premium leather-appointed seating, are chosen for their durability against UV sun exposure, ensuring the interior doesn't fade or crack over time.

Safety

Safety is a hallmark of the 2023 QX60, which carries a 5-Star safety rating and comes equipped with a suite of technologies designed for the unique challenges of GCC driving. The Blind Spot Intervention and Lane Departure Prevention are vital for the multi-lane highway environments of the UAE, where high-speed lane changes are frequent. Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection provides an extra layer of security in dense urban areas like Downtown Dubai or West Bay. Additionally, the Rear Cross Traffic Alert is invaluable when reversing out of crowded parking spots in major shopping malls. The car also features Rear Automatic Braking, a feature many competitors leave as an expensive option, which can prevent low-speed collisions with obstacles or bollards. This comprehensive approach to safety makes it one of the most trusted family vehicles in its class.

The bottom line

This 2023 Infiniti QX60 LUXE is the ideal choice for a buyer who wants the prestige and technology of a new luxury SUV without the initial showroom price hike. Its low mileage and GCC-spec status make it a 'buy-and-drive' opportunity with excellent mid-term resale potential.
