Summary

This 2023 Infiniti QX60 LUXE represents a sophisticated balance of modern Japanese engineering and executive-level comfort, tailored specifically for the demands of the Middle East. With its GCC-specific cooling systems and high-grade cabin materials, it stands out as a premium family transport that holds its value remarkably well in the local pre-owned market. The mileage is perfectly aligned with the average driving patterns in the UAE, suggesting a history of steady highway use between emirates rather than taxing stop-start city congestion. Opting for the LUXE trim ensures you receive the most sought-after technological upgrades that GCC buyers prioritize, from advanced driver assistance to superior interior finishes. Its Grey exterior is a highly resilient choice for the region, masking desert dust effectively while maintaining a high resale desirability. For any buyer looking to transition from a standard SUV to a genuine luxury experience without the high maintenance overheads of European rivals, this QX60 is the most logical and rewarding choice available today.

This Car vs Other 2023 QX60s

When evaluating this specific 2023 model against others in the UAE market, the mileage of 63,439 km is exactly where you want it to be for a vehicle of this age. In the GCC, where the average annual mileage typically ranges between 20,000 and 25,000 km, this vehicle has been driven exactly as intended—primarily on well-maintained highways that connect our major cities. This type of mileage often indicates that the engine and transmission have reached their optimal operating temperatures regularly, preventing the wear and carbon buildup associated with short city trips. The Grey exterior finish is one of the most practical and popular choices in the region, offering a sophisticated look that handles the intense sunlight and dust of the Gulf better than darker shades. This color choice significantly bolsters its future trade-in value, as it remains a top-three preference for used car buyers in the Dubai and Abu Dhabi markets.

LUXE vs Lower Trims

Stepping up to the LUXE trim from the base Pure model transforms the daily driving experience in the GCC. The most significant additions include a suite of enhanced technology such as the Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, which is invaluable for navigating tight parking spots in busy malls across the region. You also benefit from larger, more aggressive alloy wheels and silver roof rails that give the vehicle a more commanding presence on the road. Inside, the LUXE trim introduces superior navigation and an upgraded climate control system designed to handle the peak of the Arabian summer with greater efficiency. The inclusion of ProPILOT Assist in this trim level provides a layer of semi-autonomous driving capability that makes the long weekend drives to Ras Al Khaimah or Fujairah significantly less fatiguing. This trim represents the 'sweet spot' for regional buyers, offering the premium features that justify the Infiniti badge without the unnecessary complexity of the highest performance tiers.

QX60 vs Segment Rivals

In the highly competitive luxury crossover segment, the QX60 frequently goes head-to-head with the Lexus RX and the Acura MDX. Where this Infiniti leads is in its unique combination of interior volume and a naturally aspirated V6 engine that is renowned for its long-term reliability in high-heat environments. Unlike some European competitors that rely on smaller, highly stressed turbocharged engines, the 3.5L V6 in the QX60 provides a smoother, more linear power delivery that is better suited for the long-distance cruising common in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The cabin quietness in the QX60 is also notably superior to many rivals, thanks to extensive acoustic glass and insulation that keeps the harsh desert wind noise at bay. Furthermore, the QX60 offers one of the most intuitive infotainment interfaces in its class, ensuring that drivers can manage navigation and climate settings without the frustration found in more complex German systems.

Running Costs & Resale

Ownership of a GCC-spec Infiniti QX60 is characterized by predictability and strong value retention. Real-world fuel consumption for the 3.5L engine is impressive on the highway, making those cross-country trips surprisingly economical, while city driving in Dubai or Riyadh traffic remains competitive for a six-cylinder SUV. Because this is a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from a wide and robust service network provided by authorized distributors across all Gulf nations, ensuring that genuine parts and expert technicians are always within reach. Historically, the QX60 experiences a lower annual depreciation rate—roughly 8-10%—compared to its European counterparts which can see drops of up to 18%. At the three-year mark, a well-maintained QX60 often retains over 65% of its original purchase price in the local market. This financial stability, combined with the availability of 95 or 98 octane fuel at every station in the region, makes it one of the most sensible luxury investments a driver can make.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this vehicle is the 3.5L V6 engine, which delivers a confident and refined performance that is perfectly tuned for GCC road conditions. Whether you are merging onto a fast-moving 140 km/h highway or navigating the hilly terrain of the Hajar Mountains, the automatic transmission provides seamless shifts that prioritize passenger comfort. The Front Wheel Drive configuration is ideal for the vast majority of UAE drivers, offering improved fuel efficiency and lower maintenance costs compared to heavier all-wheel-drive systems which are rarely needed on the region's paved surfaces. With a ground clearance that allows for confident navigation over speed humps and through occasional rain-flooded streets, the QX60 feels substantial and safe. Its towing capacity is also sufficient for light recreational equipment, making it a versatile companion for active families who enjoy the diverse landscapes the GCC has to offer.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior of the QX60 LUXE is a masterclass in ergonomic design, specifically tailored to provide relief from the intense Middle Eastern climate. The air conditioning system is particularly powerful, featuring rear vents that ensure all passengers—even those in the back—stay cool during the 50°C summer months. This specific configuration features a luxurious 4-seat layout, providing an unparalleled sense of personal space and executive comfort for every occupant. High-quality materials cover every touchpoint, from the soft-touch dashboard to the premium upholstery, creating an atmosphere of calm on long commutes. The cabin is also designed with practical storage in mind, accommodating large water bottles and travel essentials easily. Advanced soundproofing ensures that the interior remains a quiet sanctuary, allowing you to enjoy the high-fidelity audio system without interference from the bustling city traffic outside.

Safety

Safety is a hallmark of the 2023 QX60, which carries a 5-Star NCAP rating, providing peace of mind for family-focused buyers. This LUXE trim is equipped with a comprehensive suite of active safety technologies that are especially useful on the high-speed, multi-lane roads of the UAE. Blind-spot monitoring and lane departure prevention systems act as an extra pair of eyes during busy commutes, while the forward emergency braking with pedestrian detection adds a critical layer of protection in urban environments. The adaptive cruise control is a standout feature for long desert highway stretches, maintaining a safe distance from other vehicles and reducing driver fatigue. Additionally, the stability control systems are finely tuned to handle the unique grip levels found on sandy or dusty road surfaces, ensuring the vehicle remains composed in all weather conditions.

The bottom line

This 2023 Infiniti QX60 LUXE is the ideal choice for a professional or family seeking a modern, high-tech SUV that offers a premium experience without the typical luxury depreciation. With its GCC-ready specs and popular color, it represents one of the most secure and comfortable buying opportunities in the current market.
