Summary

This 2023 AMG GT 53 is a standout performance sedan, offering an exceptional balance of low mileage and modern tech for the UAE market. Its black-on-black aesthetic is a high-demand choice that maintains strong resale appeal across the GCC. While the Japanese regional spec means it was meticulously maintained in a milder climate, it delivers the same aggressive four-door coupe presence that has made this model a favorite in Dubai and Riyadh. For a buyer seeking the visual impact of a supercar with the everyday utility of a sedan, this low-kilometer example provides a significant opportunity to own a current-generation AMG without the wait times of a new order.

This Car vs Other 2023 AMG GTs

With just 14,790 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits well below the typical GCC annual average of 20,000 km, representing a low-use example for its model year. The black exterior is the most preferred color for high-end German performance cars in the local market, ensuring it remains highly liquid at resale. As a 2023 model, it benefits from the latest MBUX updates and interior refinements that define the current generation.

53 vs Lower Trims

Moving up to the 53 trim adds the more powerful 3.0L inline-six engine with EQ Boost and an electric auxiliary compressor, providing a significant performance jump over the base 43 trim. This level typically introduces high-value features like the AMG Ride Control+ air suspension and the enhanced Burmester audio system. GCC buyers will particularly appreciate the standard ventilated seat capability and 360-degree camera suite that are often optional on lower-tier specifications.

AMG GT vs Segment Rivals

The AMG GT 53 competes directly with the Porsche Panamera and the Audi RS7, leading with a more aggressive, track-inspired design language. It offers a unique 48-volt mild-hybrid system that aids in smooth stop-start transitions during heavy city traffic in Dubai or Doha. The cabin's specialized 'jet-wing' air vents and wide-screen digital cockpit provide a more futuristic interior environment than its more traditional rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages around 10.5L/100km, though this varies based on Sport+ usage on the highway versus city idling. As a Japanese spec import, buyers should note that authorized service centers in the UAE are widely available, though checking for local warranty compatibility is recommended. The AMG GT model range typically sees a depreciation of 12-15% annually in the GCC, with black-colored units holding their value better than niche shades.

Performance & Capability

The turbocharged 3.0L engine delivers 400 hp, enabling a verified 0-100 km/h sprint in just 4.5 seconds. This makes it an effortless highway cruiser for long-distance trips across the Emirates, with ample torque for overtaking at high speeds. Multiple AMG Dynamic Select modes allow the driver to stiffen the suspension for Yas Marina track days or soften the damping for comfortable daily commutes.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is configured for four occupants, featuring high-bolstered AMG performance seats and a dedicated center console that extends to the rear. The powerful climate control system is engineered to manage high ambient temperatures, complemented by premium materials that insulate the interior from road noise and desert heat. The twin 12.3-inch displays provide a highly customizable interface for navigation and performance telemetry.

Safety

This trim includes the full AMG safety suite with Active Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist, and Pre-Safe systems that are essential for high-speed highway traffic. The 360-degree camera system is particularly useful for maneuvering the car's long hood in tight urban parking spaces. Additionally, the adaptive cruise control provides a relaxed driving experience during long stretches of desert highway.

The bottom line

This is a prime opportunity for a performance-focused buyer to secure a nearly new, low-mileage AMG GT 53 in the region's most desirable color combination.
