• Lowest depreciation in class

Summary

This listing represents a highly desirable opportunity to own one of the most iconic SUVs in the world with exceptionally low mileage for its age. In the GCC market, where the average annual mileage typically exceeds 20,000 km, this vehicle’s usage is significantly below the local curve, suggesting a much gentler service history. Finished in white—one of the strongest resale colors across the UAE and Saudi Arabia—it is perfectly suited for the regional climate by reflecting heat more effectively than darker tones. While it primarily serves as a status symbol in the city, its robust engineering makes it one of the few luxury vehicles that can truly handle high-intensity desert conditions. The combination of the hand-built V8 and the timeless design ensures this remains a low-depreciation asset compared to almost any other luxury SUV. For a buyer looking for a modern, high-performance icon with plenty of life left in its first chapter, this specific example is a top-tier choice.

This Car vs Other 2023 G63 AMGs

With only 23,000 km on the odometer, this particular vehicle has been driven significantly less than the regional average of 25,000 km per year. In the GCC, many owners utilize these as primary daily drivers for long commutes between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, meaning a typical 2023 model could easily reach 40,000 km by now. This lower-than-average mileage preserves the mechanical integrity of the suspension and engine mounts, which are critical in a high-torque vehicle. The white exterior is a strategic choice for this region, as it maintains its luster under the harsh UV rays of the Arabian sun better than many metallic or matte finishes. Finding a recent model year with this level of preservation provides a distinct advantage in both current aesthetic and future resale value.

STD vs Lower Trims

Being the flagship AMG variant, this trim introduces a level of theater and performance that standard G-Class models simply cannot match. It features the hand-built 'One Man, One Engine' V8, which provides 585 horsepower, a substantial jump over the six-cylinder alternatives found in lower trims. Inside, you benefit from the superior Burmester surround sound system and the wide-screen cockpit as standard, features that are often optional elsewhere. For the GCC driver, the inclusion of high-performance cooling systems is the most vital upgrade, ensuring that the engine and cabin remain at optimal temperatures even during a 45°C summer afternoon. The exterior is further distinguished by the flared wheel arches and side-exit exhaust pipes that have become synonymous with the AMG identity.

G63 AMG vs Segment Rivals

When compared to rivals like the Range Rover Autobiography or the Lamborghini Urus, this vehicle offers a unique blend of heritage and rugged capability. While the Urus focuses on track-like speed, this model retains three independent locking differentials, allowing it to navigate soft sand and desert dunes with ease. It features a massive fuel tank that is ideal for long-range trips across the Emirates or across the border into Oman, offering fewer stops than its more fuel-thirsty Italian competitors. The upright cabin design provides better visibility and more headroom than the sloping rooflines found on many modern performance SUVs. In terms of sheer presence on the road, it remains the undisputed leader in its segment, commanding a level of respect that few other manufacturers can emulate.

Running Costs & Resale

The real-world fuel consumption for the 4.0L V8 reflects its high-performance nature, typically hovering around 16.5 liters per 100km in mixed GCC driving. Owners should expect higher consumption in stop-start traffic in downtown Riyadh or Dubai, but the vehicle is surprisingly efficient during steady-state highway cruising at 120 km/h. Service intervals are generally required every 15,000 km at authorized centers, which are widely available across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. This specific Japanese spec version is known for having a high level of interior maintenance, though buyers should ensure all localized navigation and radio frequencies are updated. Historically, this model holds its value better than almost any other luxury vehicle in the GCC, often retaining up to 80% of its value after three years.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this SUV is its 585 horsepower twin-turbo V8, which propels the heavy frame from 0-100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds. This explosive acceleration is particularly useful for overtaking on the E11 highway or merging into fast-moving traffic. It isn't just about straight-line speed; the All-Wheel Drive system and low-range transfer case make it a genuine off-road tool capable of climbing steep dunes. With a ground clearance of over 240mm, it easily clears obstacles that would damage the underbody of most luxury crossovers. The 9-speed automatic transmission is tuned to handle the massive 850 Nm of torque, providing smooth shifts whether you are cruising through the city or powering through a desert trail. It remains one of the few vehicles that feels equally at home at a five-star hotel valet as it does in the middle of a wadi.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the cabin is a sanctuary from the intense heat and noise of the outside world, thanks to triple-zone climate control and thick acoustic glass. The five-seat layout offers ample legroom and a commanding sitting position that provides a clear view over the hood. Ventilated seats are a critical feature here, ensuring comfort during the long summer months when cabin temperatures can rise quickly. The interior is finished with high-quality materials including Nappa leather and carbon fiber accents, which are resilient against the wear and tear of daily use. A high-resolution Burmester audio system provides a concert-like experience, easily drowning out the signature growl of the side-pipe exhausts when a more peaceful drive is desired. For family trips, the 454-liter boot offers plenty of space for weekend luggage or shopping trips.

Safety

Equipped with a comprehensive suite of active safety technologies, this vehicle is designed to protect occupants on both high-speed highways and unpredictable off-road terrain. Key features include Active Brake Assist and Lane Keeping Assist, which are vital for maintaining safety during long-distance drives across the desert. The Blind Spot Assist is particularly helpful given the vehicle's boxy proportions, alerting the driver to fast-approaching vehicles in neighboring lanes. It also features a 360-degree camera system, making it much easier to park this large SUV in tight urban spaces. In the event of an off-road situation, the reinforced steel frame and multiple airbags provide a robust safety cell for all five passengers.

The bottom line

This 2023 G63 AMG is the perfect choice for a buyer who wants the ultimate combination of prestige, low-mileage reliability, and high resale potential in the GCC market. It offers the same presence and power as a brand-new model but at a more accessible entry point, making it a savvy acquisition for a discerning enthusiast.
