Summary

This 2023 GLC 300 4MATIC is an exceptionally strong buy in the GCC used market, showing significantly lower mileage than the typical 60,000–75,000 km expected for a vehicle of this age. Finished in white, it features the most sought-after resale color in the region due to its superior heat reflection and market liquidity. As the first year of the redesigned second generation, it delivers a massive leap in cabin technology and refinement over its predecessors. This 4-cylinder petrol SUV balances efficient daily commuting in city traffic with the high-speed stability required for long highway drives between the Emirates.

This Car vs Other 2023 GLC 300s

With just 33,000 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been driven approximately 11,000 km per year—less than half the typical GCC annual average of 25,000 km. The white exterior is a strategic choice for local buyers, as it commands a higher resale value and maintains a cooler cabin temperature during peak summer months compared to darker hues.

4MATIC vs Lower Trims

The 4MATIC trim adds Mercedes-Benz's sophisticated all-wheel-drive system, providing enhanced grip and stability on the UAE's fast-moving multi-lane highways and better traction on sand-blown road surfaces. Over the base rear-wheel-drive model, this trim often includes the upgraded MBUX infotainment suite and advanced parking assistance packages that are highly valued by luxury buyers in the region.

GLC 300 vs Segment Rivals

Against the BMW X3 and Audi Q5, the GLC 300 leads with a significantly larger 620-litre boot capacity, making it the practical choice for family weekend trips. The interior outclasses rivals with its 11.9-inch portrait touchscreen and standard 64-color ambient lighting, which creates a more modern executive atmosphere for nighttime city driving.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages around 9.8L/100km combined, offering a competitive balance for the daily commute. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from full compatibility with local fuel grades and a robust authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman. The GLC holds value well in the local market, typically seeing 15–20% annual depreciation, though this specific unit's low mileage will significantly mitigate that curve.

Performance & Capability

The mild-hybrid turbocharged engine produces 258 hp, propelling the SUV from 0–100 km/h in a swift 6.2 seconds, ensuring effortless overtaking on the E11. The 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system is paired with a smooth 9-speed automatic transmission, delivering refined power delivery whether navigating stop-start traffic or cruising at high speed. While designed for the road, its ground clearance handles gravel paths and desert suburban terrain with ease.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a highlight of the redesigned generation, featuring a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a whisper-quiet interior thanks to enhanced acoustic insulation. The air conditioning system is specifically engineered for the 45°C+ summer heat, featuring dedicated rear cooling vents to keep all five passengers comfortable. Premium materials and power-adjustable memory seats ensure long-distance comfort for cross-emirate travel.

Safety

This GLC 300 is equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite including Blind Spot Assist, which is essential for fast-moving UAE highway traffic. The standard 360° camera and Active Parking Assist make maneuvering in tight Dubai and Abu Dhabi parking structures effortless. Additional safety comes from Active Brake Assist and PRE-SAFE systems, providing high-tier protection for families.

The bottom line

For a GCC buyer seeking a near-new luxury SUV, this low-mileage 2023 GLC 300 4MATIC offers the perfect combination of the latest Mercedes technology and the region's best resale configuration.
