Summary

This 2023 GLE 63 AMG S is a collector-grade example of the rare Brabus 900 Rocket Edition, representing the absolute peak of SUV performance. With only 6,000 km on the odometer, it offers a nearly new ownership experience for a vehicle that normally sees high highway use across the GCC. The Grey exterior is a high-demand, high-resale choice in the UAE market, perfectly balancing aggressive road presence with long-term value retention. This model stands out from standard performance SUVs by combining supercar-rivalling speed with Mercedes-Benz refinement. For a GCC buyer, this is a unique opportunity to own one of the world's most powerful production-based SUVs with minimal wear.

This Car vs Other 2023 GLE 63 AMGs

While most 2023 performance SUVs in the UAE have already covered 20,000 to 30,000 km, this example’s 6,000 km is exceptionally low, making it a standout for collectors and enthusiasts. The European specification paired with such low mileage represents a significant mechanical advantage, as the engine and suspension remain in peak factory condition. Grey is a perennial favorite in the GCC used market, ensuring faster resale and better value holding than more experimental colors.

S vs Lower Trims

The 'S' trim is the definitive performance choice, adding dynamic engine mounts, an electronic rear-axle limited-slip differential, and the AMG Driver’s Package as standard. In the GCC climate, the S-model's upgraded cooling capacity and standard ventilated front seats are essential for maintaining performance and comfort during summer months. This specific build goes even further, featuring the comprehensive Rocket 900 enhancement suite which transforms the standard 603 hp output into a staggering 900 hp.

GLE 63 AMG vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the BMW X5 M or the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT, this 900 hp GLE leads the segment in raw power and top speed. It offers a more spacious cabin for family use than the Cayenne while providing a smoother highway ride than the track-focused BMW, making it the ideal cross-emirate grand tourer. The inclusion of the 48V EQ Boost system provides immediate torque that rivals struggle to match in stop-start city traffic.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this high-output V8 typically averages 14.7 L/100km, though this will increase in heavy Dubai or Riyadh traffic. As a Mercedes-AMG product, it benefits from the most extensive authorized service network in the GCC, with major centers in every major city ensuring specialized care for the Biturbo engine. Performance-tier Mercedes models typically see a depreciation of 12-15% annually in the UAE, but the rarity of a 900 hp build helps buffer this against standard GLE models. Service intervals are recommended every 15,000 km or 12 months, though high-performance variants often benefit from an intermediate oil change in extreme heat.

Performance & Capability

The headline figure is the 900 hp output, which enables a 0–100 km/h sprint of just 3.2 seconds—placing this SUV in the territory of dedicated supercars. The All-Wheel Drive system is tuned for maximum traction, ensuring composed highway overtaking and high-speed stability on the long straights between Abu Dhabi and Dubai. With a top speed of 330 km/h, it is among the fastest SUVs ever produced, yet it maintains a 7,700-pound towing capacity for weekend leisure requirements.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the cabin features the MBUX digital cockpit with twin 12.3-inch displays and a premium Burmester surround sound system. The 5-seat layout is optimized for luxury, featuring multi-contour seats with heating and ventilation that are vital for the GCC summer. Acoustic glass and extensive insulation ensure the V8’s roar is kept at a refined level during long-distance drives across the region.

Safety

Safety is managed by a full ADAS suite including Active Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist, and the Pre-Safe Plus system which prepares the cabin for a potential collision. The 360-degree camera system is standard, providing essential visibility for navigating tight parking in luxury malls or residential towers. Standard multi-stage airbags and active distance assist make it one of the safest high-performance vehicles for family travel on fast-moving GCC highways.

The bottom line

This is a rare 900 hp ultra-performance SUV that bridges the gap between daily luxury and supercar speed, making it the ultimate choice for a buyer who wants the fastest vehicle in the neighborhood without sacrificing SUV utility.
