Summary

This 2025 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG represents the latest technical evolution of the iconic G-Class, now featuring a 48V mild-hybrid system for smoother low-end response. Finished in a bold Yellow, it makes a powerful visual statement that stands out in the GCC’s luxury SUV landscape. With just 25,000 km, this vehicle is barely broken in and offers a significant head start on the typically high demand for the new W465 generation. It balances legendary ruggedness with the new MBUX infotainment architecture, ensuring it remains the gold standard for prestige 4x4s in the region. For the GCC buyer, this is a chance to own the most current iteration of a cultural icon without the multi-year waitlists common for new dealer allocations.

This Car vs Other 2025 G63 AMGs

With 25,000 km on the odometer, this G63 has been driven exactly in line with the typical GCC annual average for a luxury daily driver. While many examples are kept as low-mileage garage queens, this vehicle is mechanically primed for the region's long-distance highway use. The striking Yellow exterior is a rare choice that appeals to collectors and enthusiasts looking for a configuration that stands out from the standard white and black palette commonly found in local listings.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

As the AMG flagship, the G63 adds significant performance hardware over the G500, including the handcrafted V8 engine and high-performance braking system with red calipers. This 2025 refresh introduces the MBUX touchscreen system and keyless entry as standard, features that were highly anticipated by GCC owners. You also benefit from the updated 'Offroad Cockpit' and 'Transparent Hood' camera technology, which provides a virtual view of the terrain beneath the vehicle during desert excursions.

G63 AMG vs Segment Rivals

The G63 occupies a unique space, offering genuine ladder-frame durability that road-biased rivals like the Lamborghini Urus or Range Rover SVR cannot match in deep sand. Its 100-litre fuel tank provides a distinct advantage for long-distance cruising across the Emirates or into neighboring GCC states. While competitors focus on lap times, the G63 leads in presence, vertical visibility, and its legendary trio of mechanical locking differentials.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages around 14.7 L/100km, though stop-start city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh will see this rise significantly. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km at authorized Mercedes-Benz centers, which are extensively available across all major GCC cities. The G-Class continues to show some of the strongest value retention in the regional used market, typically outperforming other European luxury SUVs due to its high demand and iconic status.

Performance & Capability

Despite its 2.6-tonne curb weight, the 585 hp V8 propels the G63 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds, making it exceptionally capable for highway overtaking. The 48V mild-hybrid system adds an electric boost of 20 hp and 200 Nm of torque at low speeds, smoothing out the acceleration curve. For off-road use, it remains a powerhouse with 244 mm of ground clearance and a 700 mm wading depth, supported by three independent differential locks for maximum traction in the dunes.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior features the new AMG Performance steering wheel and the long-awaited MBUX dual 12.3-inch widescreen displays. The GCC-essential 3-zone Thermotronic climate control ensures the cabin stays chilled even in 45°C+ summer heat, while the multi-contour Nappa leather seats provide superior support. Thoughtful updates for 2025 include temperature-controlled cupholders and wireless charging, enhancing comfort for long trans-emirate journeys.

Safety

The 2025 G63 comes standard with a comprehensive safety suite including Active Steering Assist and Active Brake Assist, which are vital for high-speed highway safety. The 360° camera system is enhanced with the 'Transparent Hood' function to help navigate obstacles both in the city and off-road. Additionally, its robust body-on-frame construction provides a level of structural passive safety that remains a hallmark of the G-Class lineage.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants the very latest in G-Wagon technology without the wait, this well-maintained 2025 model in a standout color is the definitive choice for the UAE's most demanding roads.
