Summary

This 2023 petrol-powered executive van offers a refined alternative to the noisy diesel variants typically found in the regional market, providing a smoother ride for city VIP transfers and family commutes. As a GCC-spec Avantgarde model, it is equipped with high-capacity climate control systems essential for maintaining cabin comfort during extreme summer temperatures. The grey exterior strikes a professional balance between executive style and practical heat management, making it a highly resilient choice for future resale in the Emirates. With its 211 hp turbocharged engine and rear-wheel-drive dynamics, it bridges the gap between commercial utility and luxury passenger car refinement. This specific listing represents a versatile investment for those requiring premium group mobility without sacrificing the prestige associated with the three-pointed star.

This Car vs Other 2023 V 250s

While typical 2023 models in the GCC market average approximately 20,000 to 25,000 km, petrol-powered V-Class units often see specialized executive use, maintaining higher mechanical refinement than their diesel counterparts. The grey finish is a strategic advantage for regional buyers, offering better solar heat rejection than black while retaining stronger executive appeal than white for corporate hospitality. Being a newer 2023 model year, it benefits from the latest MBUX infotainment updates that provide a more seamless digital experience than earlier iterations of this generation.

AVANTGARDE/E vs Lower Trims

The Avantgarde trim elevates the experience significantly over the standard Vito or base V-Class models by adding luxury-grade materials and enhanced cabin acoustics. It typically includes the LED Intelligent Light System, higher-quality leather upholstery, and ambient lighting that are frequently omitted on entry-level commercial variants. For the GCC buyer, the most notable upgrades include the standard Agility Control suspension for improved highway stability and more sophisticated interior trim finishes that justify its premium positioning.

V 250 vs Segment Rivals

The V 250 leads rivals like the Toyota Alphard and Volkswagen Multivan through its superior brand prestige and rear-wheel-drive handling characteristics that feel more like a luxury sedan than a van. Its 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine offers a quieter, more vibration-free cabin environment than many diesel-heavy competitors in the MPV segment. Additionally, the Mercedes-Benz MBUX system remains the standard for interior technology, providing better navigation and voice-control integration than its Japanese and European rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

Fuel consumption is estimated at approximately 6.0 L/100km on a combined cycle, though real-world GCC city driving in heavy traffic will naturally see higher figures. The petrol powertrain is well-suited for high-grade Super 98 or Special 95 fuel available across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, ensuring longevity in local conditions. Maintenance follows the Mercedes-Benz Service A and B schedule, with an extensive network of authorized service centers available throughout all major GCC cities. As a premium German van, it maintains strong value retention, particularly among boutique travel firms and large families who prioritize the safety and prestige of the V-Class badge.

Performance & Capability

Powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 211 hp and 350 Nm of torque, the V 250 delivers consistent power for effortless highway cruising between emirates. The 0–100 km/h sprint of 9.1 seconds and a top speed of 206 km/h ensure it can comfortably keep pace with fast-moving traffic on the E11 or Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road. Its rear-wheel-drive configuration and precise steering provide a surprisingly small turning circle of 11.8 meters, making it easier to maneuver through tight hotel entrances and urban parking structures.

Comfort & Cabin

The 6-seat configuration features dedicated second-row captain chairs, providing an executive 'First Class' feel for rear passengers. High-output GCC-specific air conditioning ensures all rows remain cool even when external temperatures exceed 45°C, supported by dedicated rear ventilation controls. The cabin is designed for long-distance comfort, featuring acoustic glass to minimize road noise and ergonomic seating that supports passengers during cross-border drives. The professional grey exterior is complemented by a premium interior that functions equally well as a mobile office or a luxury family lounge.

Safety

This V 250 comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite, including Crosswind Assist, which is vital for maintaining stability on exposed desert highways during high-gust conditions. Standard features typically include Active Brake Assist, Attention Assist to combat driver fatigue on long night drives, and a suite of airbags protecting all three rows. The robust construction and advanced stability control systems provide a 5-star level of protection, making it one of the safest vehicles in the MPV segment for family and professional use.

The bottom line

Perfect for the Dubai-based executive or a family seeking uncompromised luxury, this 2023 petrol V 250 offers the ideal blend of prestige and GCC-ready performance.
