• 480 hp from a twin-turbocharged flat-six
• Top speed of 307 km/h

Summary

This 2023 911 represents the sweet spot of the 992.1 generation, offering a focused performance edge while maintaining daily driveability. With just 16,000 km, the mileage is significantly lower than the GCC average for a car of this age, ensuring it remains in peak mechanical condition for the next owner. The silver exterior is one of the most resilient and sought-after colors in the region, providing excellent heat reflection and strong resale prospects. As an all-wheel-drive convertible, it offers unmatched year-round versatility, combining supercar acceleration with the luxury of open-top motoring. For the GCC buyer, this is a highly optimized configuration that balances performance, regional practicality, and long-term value retention.

This Car vs Other 2023 911s

With only 16,000 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been driven well below the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average seen in the GCC. The silver finish is a strategic choice for the local market, as it hides dust effectively and remains one of the fastest-moving colors at resale. In a market where many 2023 models are now crossing the 40,000 km mark, this example represents a low-mileage opportunity with significant remaining service life.

CARRERA 4GTS vs Lower Trims

Choosing the GTS over the Carrera 4S adds a meaningful performance jump, including the high-performance braking system from the 911 Turbo and the PASM sport suspension which lowers the car by 10mm. It also features the Sport Chrono Package and Sport Exhaust as standard, along with unique GTS-specific black exterior trim and center-lock wheels. These features are highly prized by enthusiasts in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, making the GTS a more desirable asset on the used market.

911 vs Segment Rivals

The 911 competes directly with the Audi R8 Spyder and the Mercedes-AMG SL 63. While rivals often struggle with extreme summer temperatures, the 911’s cooling architecture is world-renowned for its durability in desert climates. Its all-wheel-drive system provides superior high-speed stability on GCC highways compared to rear-drive-only competitors, and its 4-seat layout offers emergency practicality that many two-seat supercars lack.

Running Costs & Resale

Porsche models in the GCC typically follow a 15,000 km or annual service interval, with minor and major services alternating. The brand enjoys one of the strongest luxury service networks in the region, with extensive authorized centers across the UAE, KSA, and Kuwait. While fuel consumption averages around 10.8 L/100km (WLTP), the 67-litre tank provides sufficient range for inter-emirate highway cruising. The GTS trim historically retains its value better than base Carrera models, often depreciating at a slower rate due to its positioning as the enthusiast's choice.

Performance & Capability

The 3.0-litre twin-turbo flat-six delivers a verified 0–100 km/h time of 3.5 seconds, providing effortless overtaking power for fast-moving GCC highways. The all-wheel-drive system ensures maximum traction even when encountering sand patches or sudden coastal rain. With a top speed of 307 km/h and Porsche’s 8-speed PDK transmission, the car offers a dual personality: a refined grand tourer for long drives and a razor-sharp sports car for track days at Yas Marina or Dubai Autodrome.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for both high-speed support and daily comfort, featuring a layout that comfortably seats two adults with small rear seats suitable for additional storage or children. Standard dual-zone climate control is engineered to handle 45°C+ summer heat, maintaining cabin temperatures even with the roof closed. The premium materials and digital cockpit provide a modern ownership experience that justifies its standing as the benchmark for everyday supercars.

Safety

Safety is comprehensive, featuring Porsche Stability Management (PSM) and an advanced braking system that provides consistent stopping power even under high thermal loads. Standard driver assistance systems include Front and Rear ParkAssist with a reversing camera, while the LED headlights offer exceptional visibility for night driving on unlit desert roads. The AWD system further enhances active safety by providing superior stability during high-speed maneuvers and in varied weather conditions.

The bottom line

This Carrera 4GTS is the ideal acquisition for a buyer seeking a modern, low-mileage 911 that is perfectly spec'd for the GCC climate and resale market.
