Summary

This 2023 Toyota Alphard Executive Lounge represents the pinnacle of luxury MPVs, offering a first-class travel experience that rivals high-end executive sedans. With its white exterior—the most sought-after resale color in the GCC—this three-year-old vehicle is perfectly positioned for buyers who prioritize prestige and cabin refinement. While European-spec models offer a unique alternative in the market, this Alphard retains the legendary reliability and serviceability that makes the model a staple on UAE roads. It serves as an ideal choice for both VIP transport and discerning families who require a ventilated, tech-forward sanctuary for the region's long highway commutes. The Executive Lounge trim specifically adds the high-tier comfort features that command a premium in the local pre-owned market.

This Car vs Other 2023 Alphards

At 75,000 km, this vehicle's mileage is slightly above the regional average of 20,000–25,000 km per year, likely reflecting the long-distance highway use common for luxury MPVs in the GCC. This usage often indicates consistent mechanical health compared to city-only vehicles, and its white exterior ensures it remains a high-liquidity asset for future resale.

EXECUTIVE LOUNGE vs Lower Trims

The Executive Lounge is a significant step above the Z and G trims, featuring semi-aniline premium leather seats and the hallmark power-reclining Ottoman chairs in the second row. It also upgrades the cabin technology with a 15-speaker JBL audio system and a 14-inch rear-seat entertainment screen, features that are highly valued by chauffeur-driven VIPs in the GCC.

Alphard vs Segment Rivals

The Alphard leads rivals like the Mercedes-Benz V-Class and Kia Carnival in cabin refinement and seat ergonomics, particularly in the Executive Lounge configuration. Its reputation for bulletproof reliability and the extensive support network across the Middle East give it a distinct advantage over European competitors for long-term ownership peace of mind.

Running Costs & Resale

Fuel consumption for the 6-cylinder petrol variant typically ranges between 9.5 and 12.5 L/100km in GCC city conditions, settling into more efficient figures on the highway. Toyota's massive authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman ensures parts are readily available. Historically, the Alphard maintains some of the strongest resale values in the MPV segment, often depreciating at just 8–10% annually.

Performance & Capability

The 6-cylinder engine provides smooth, effortless power delivery for highway overtaking and maintaining speed on inter-emirate journeys. While the 200 hp output focuses on refinement over raw speed, the Front Wheel Drive system and 8-speed automatic transmission are tuned for maximum passenger comfort. This combination handles the heat of GCC summers and heavy passenger loads with consistent mechanical composure.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a masterclass in hospitality, featuring 4-zone climate control with NanoeX air purification to ensure the interior remains fresh and cool during peak summer. Second-row passengers enjoy ventilated and heated massage seats, while the 14-inch digital cockpit provides the driver with seamless navigation and media control. Acoustic glass and active noise control significantly reduce road noise, creating a quiet environment for business calls or family rest.

Safety

Safety is paramount with the inclusion of Toyota Safety Sense 3, which provides adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and blind-spot monitoring—essential for fast-moving UAE highway traffic. The vehicle is also equipped with a 360-degree camera system and a digital inner mirror, making the large van easy to maneuver in tight urban parking spaces. Multiple airbags and a rigid TNGA platform provide robust protection for all seven occupants.

The bottom line

This Alphard is an exceptional opportunity for a buyer seeking a high-spec, VIP-ready van that combines European specification uniqueities with Toyota's unmatched regional reliability.
