Summary

This 2023 Land Cruiser represents a rare find in the current market, combining the modern LC300 platform with the mechanical engagement of a manual transmission. Its white exterior remains the most sought-after color for heat management and long-term resale value across the Emirates. With 79,000 km, this vehicle has been broken in properly for the long-distance highway hauls typical of GCC ownership. It offers a distinct advantage for drivers who prioritize bulletproof reliability over complex electronics, making it a standout choice for those who venture beyond the city limits. Owning this specific model year ensures you have the latest structural safety and frame technology while retaining the simplified 4.0L V6 powertrain.

This Car vs Other 2023 Land Cruisers

At 79,000 km, this vehicle has covered slightly more than the typical 25,000 km annual GCC average, yet it retains a significant mechanical advantage as a naturally aspirated V6 manual. While many LC300s in the market are higher-trim twin-turbos with automated systems, this manual variant is increasingly rare and highly prized by purists. The white finish is the top-tier choice for the local market, ensuring the best possible price when it comes time to trade up.

GXR vs Lower Trims

The GXR trim provides a major step up from the base EXR, most notably through the addition of a Panoramic View Monitor (360-degree camera) and synthetic leather upholstery. It also introduces Toyota Safety Sense features such as Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, which is essential for maintaining comfort on the long highways between Abu Dhabi and Dubai. These upgrades bridge the gap between a rugged workhorse and a refined family SUV, adding the daily tech GCC buyers expect.

Land Cruiser vs Segment Rivals

When measured against the Nissan Patrol or Land Rover Defender, this car leads with a service network that covers even the remotest parts of the GCC. Its 110-litre fuel tank capacity provides a superior range for cross-border trips or deep desert expeditions compared to many European rivals. The naturally aspirated 4.0L engine is specifically tuned to handle the extreme summer heat of the region without the cooling complexities associated with turbocharged competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Fuel consumption for the 4.0L V6 typically averages around 10.6 L/100km on the highway, though city driving in stop-start traffic will see this figure rise. Toyota's authorized service centers are available in every major city across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman, keeping maintenance straightforward. This model holds its value exceptionally well, with Land Cruisers typically retaining roughly 10% more value than their nearest segment rivals after three years in the GCC market.

Performance & Capability

The 271 hp V6 engine is paired with a manual gearbox, giving the driver total control over power delivery—a crucial asset when navigating soft sand in the Liwa desert. Its body-on-frame construction and selectable low-range transfer case provide the hardware needed for serious off-roading. On the highway, the steady power delivery makes for a predictable and comfortable cruising experience even when fully loaded with a family of five.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the cabin is designed to shield passengers from the harsh local climate with high-output air conditioning and rear cooling vents standard on the GXR trim. The 5-seat layout allows for a massive boot space, perfect for camping gear or large grocery runs. Synthetic leather surfaces are chosen for their durability and ease of cleaning after weekend trips to the beach or the dunes.

Safety

Safety is managed by a suite of active systems including Toyota Safety Sense, which features a Pre-Collision System and Lane Departure Alert. The inclusion of a 360-degree camera is a vital addition for a vehicle of this size, making tight city parking and obstacle detection during off-roading far simpler. Standard stability control and multiple airbags provide peace of mind for high-speed highway travel.

The bottom line

For the GCC buyer who wants the modern LC300 chassis but trusts a manual gearbox and a naturally aspirated engine, this listing is the perfect balance of durability and current-gen tech.
