Summary

This 2023 Toyota Supra GR offers a rare opportunity to own a modern Japanese legend with the powerful 3.0-litre engine configuration. While the mileage reflects active use over its 3 years, the car benefits from Toyota's exceptional service infrastructure across the UAE and the wider GCC, ensuring long-term mechanical peace of mind. The white exterior is the most sought-after color in the local market, providing the strongest possible resale advantage and better heat management during summer. Compared to its 2.0-litre siblings, this GR trim delivers the authentic high-performance experience that enthusiasts crave. It remains a standout choice for those seeking a precision-engineered coupe that handles the region’s fast-moving highways with absolute composure.

This Car vs Other 2023 Supras

At 96,662 km, this vehicle has been driven more than the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average for the GCC, likely indicating consistent highway use between emirates. In the local market, white is considered the premier resale color, often commanding a quicker sale and better price retention than darker alternatives. This high-use history is offset by the vehicle's age, making it an accessible entry point into the newest generation of Supra performance.

GR vs Lower Trims

Stepping up to this 3.0-litre GR trim adds significant performance hardware over the base 2.0 model, most notably the Adaptive Variable Sport suspension and an active rear differential. You also gain superior stopping power from Brembo front brakes and a more premium cabin experience featuring 14-way power-adjustable seats. These features are highly valued by GCC buyers who prioritize both track-ready dynamics and daily driving comfort.

Supra vs Segment Rivals

The Supra leads rivals like the Nissan Z and BMW Z4 by offering a unique blend of Toyota’s legendary reliability and BMW-engineered powertrain precision. Its 3.0-litre inline-six provides a more linear power delivery and a more iconic exhaust note than the turbocharged V6 engines found in some competitors. For long-distance GCC drives, the Supra’s cockpit is more driver-focused and better insulated against road noise than many of its lighter sports car rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this automatic 3.0 model typically averages around 10.3 L/100km, making it surprisingly efficient for a high-output sports car on long highway stretches. Maintenance is straightforward through Al-Futtaim’s extensive network in the UAE or official distributors across Saudi Arabia and Oman, with standard service intervals at 10,000 km. Toyota products in the GCC consistently enjoy some of the lowest depreciation rates in the market, particularly in high-demand trims like the GR.

Performance & Capability

The headline figure is a blistering 0–100 km/h time of just 4.1 seconds, powered by a 382 hp twin-scroll turbocharged engine. This performance translates into effortless overtaking on multi-lane highways and exceptional stability at its electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. The rear-wheel-drive architecture and near-perfect 50:50 weight distribution make it one of the most balanced handling cars currently on UAE roads.

Comfort & Cabin

The two-seat cockpit is a high-tech environment featuring an 8.8-inch digital gauge cluster and carbon-fiber interior trim that stays cool under the GCC sun. Powerful dual-zone automatic climate control is standard, ensuring the small cabin reaches comfortable temperatures rapidly even in peak summer. Advanced noise insulation ensures that despite its sports car DNA, the cabin remains a refined place for cross-border trips or city commuting.

Safety

Safety is comprehensive with a suite of ADAS features including forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-departure warning with steering assist. These systems are particularly beneficial on fast-moving GCC highways where lane discipline and rapid traffic flow require constant vigilance. The GR trim also features a high-strength steel and aluminum body structure designed to provide maximum protection while maintaining a lightweight performance profile.

The bottom line

For the performance-focused buyer who prioritizes the 3.0-litre engine and Toyota's unmatched local support, this white GR Supra is a highly practical way to enter the premium sports car segment.
