Powering the B6 is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder mild hybrid producing 300HP. Volvo lets you choose between the modes of Comfort, Eco, Dynamic, Off Road and Individual so you can pick your own suspension and steering style, when set in Eco, eating up the miles is a smooth ride and has all the acceleration and pace you need to get to up to speed. The car’s eight-speed automatic gearbox made it smooth and easy to drive and the suspension feels sturdy.
As in other new Volvo models, there is a Sensus touch screen sitting proudly in the middle of the dashboard, with controls for audio, sat nav, heating and of course those all-important safety features, also coming with standard features like oncoming lane mitigation, where automatic steering kicks in if you start to drift between lanes, and run-off road protection, with seatbelt and seat devices to help in case the car leaves the road.
