Summary

This specific high-performance SUV represents a rare opportunity to own a nearly new flagship model with extremely low usage for the GCC market. While many SUVs in the region serve as utilitarian commuters, this vehicle stands out by offering genuine supercar performance in a practical 5-door format that doesn't compromise on daily usability. The unique exterior color is a highly sought-after shade for this Italian marque, often commanding a premium among enthusiasts and ensuring strong desirability when it eventually returns to the pre-owned market. Driving this model in the GCC means enjoying a chassis tuned for precision that still manages the daily heat and traffic of major cities like Dubai or Riyadh with ease. For a buyer looking to balance the needs of a family with the soul of a performance car, this listing provides the ideal entry point with its pristine condition and regional-specific preparation. It is undoubtedly the most engaging driver's car in its class, offering a mechanical soul that its German and Japanese rivals often lack.

This Car vs Other 2024 Stelvios

With mileage significantly below the 20,000 km to 25,000 km annual average typical for the GCC, this vehicle is essentially in a break-in period. Most 2024 models currently available have been utilized for rigorous daily commuting between emirates, whereas this example shows signs of very light use and meticulous care. The specific Green exterior is not just a stylistic choice but a value-add, as this particular shade is iconic to the brand's racing heritage and typically holds better long-term interest than standard white or silver variants. Being a GCC-spec vehicle, it carries the peace of mind of a cooling system and interior materials designed to withstand the intense local UV radiation and thermal cycles. Choosing this car over others means securing a nearly-new asset that has already undergone its steepest initial depreciation while remaining under comprehensive local coverage. It represents the top tier of what is available in the current secondary market for this model year.

QUADRIFOGLIO vs Lower Trims

Moving up to this flagship trim transforms the driving experience from a standard luxury commute into an event, primarily due to the Ferrari-derived engine architecture that lower trims simply cannot match. Beyond the massive leap in power, this trim introduces carbon fiber interior trim and aggressive aerodynamic enhancements that are functional rather than just cosmetic. GCC buyers will particularly appreciate the upgraded cooling ducts and high-performance braking system, which maintain consistent performance even during the peak of the Arabian summer. The interior is significantly elevated with premium leather and Alcantara finishes, providing a tactile quality that basic trims lack. Furthermore, the inclusion of a sophisticated torque-vectoring rear differential ensures that power is managed effectively on both high-traction asphalt and the occasional sandy shoulder common on regional roads. It is a comprehensive package that justifies its position at the top of the lineup through both mechanical and digital superiority.

Stelvio vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the Porsche Macan Turbo or the BMW X3 M, this model leads with a more communicative steering rack and a lighter overall curb weight, which makes it feel much more agile on winding mountain roads like those found in Jebel Jais. While rivals often feel clinically efficient, this Italian SUV provides a more emotional and visceral connection to the road that is highly valued by local enthusiasts. Its Four Wheel Drive system is rear-biased, offering the playfulness of a sports car with the security required for high-speed highway stability in the UAE or Kuwait. The cabin design avoids the cluttered screen-heavy approach of some competitors, focusing instead on driver ergonomics and visibility. Additionally, the unique styling ensures you won't be lost in a sea of identical German crossovers at a valet stand in Downtown Dubai. It offers a distinct alternative for the buyer who prioritizes character and driving dynamics over mere brand ubiquity.

Running Costs & Resale

Ownership of a vehicle in this performance bracket requires an understanding of its specialized needs, though it remains surprisingly manageable for a GCC owner. Real-world fuel consumption typically hovers around 12 to 14 L per 100km during mixed city and highway driving, though this can increase in heavy Dubai stop-start traffic where the air conditioning is working at maximum capacity. Servicing is handled through a well-established network of authorized centers across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, with recommended intervals every 15,000 km or once a year. While parts for this high-performance trim are more specialized than the base models, the shared platform ensures that wear items are readily available through official channels. Resale value for this specific trim remains robust in the GCC because it is a low-volume flagship that attracts a dedicated niche of buyers. Historically, well-maintained GCC-spec examples of this trim retain approximately 60-65% of their value after three years, outperforming many non-limited luxury SUVs in the same price bracket.

Performance & Capability

The centerpiece of this vehicle is its 500 hp 6-cylinder powerplant, which enables a blistering 0-100 km/h sprint that rivals dedicated supercars. On the expansive highways of the GCC, this translated into effortless overtaking power and a top speed that feels remarkably stable thanks to the active aero front splitter. The Four Wheel Drive system intelligently distributes torque, providing immense grip during rare rain events or on the dusty surfaces often encountered in new desert developments. You have four distinct drive modes to choose from, including a 'Race' mode which opens up the exhaust valves for an incredible acoustic experience through the quad pipes. Despite its track-focused DNA, the ground clearance is sufficient for navigating speed bumps and steep driveway inclines without the anxiety associated with lower sports cars. It is a multi-talented machine that feels as comfortable cruising at 140 km/h on the E11 as it does attacking a series of corners.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed to accommodate five adults in an environment that balances racing heritage with modern luxury. The air conditioning system is specifically calibrated for the region, ensuring that the cabin reaches a comfortable temperature within minutes even after being parked in the sun. Standard ventilated seats are a major advantage here, providing essential relief during the humid summer months. The audio system, provided by a top-tier brand, offers 14 speakers and crystal-clear sound that remains immersive even at higher speeds where road noise might otherwise interfere. Rear passengers benefit from dedicated cooling vents and sufficient legroom for long cross-border journeys, such as Dubai to Muscat. The boot capacity is generous for its class, easily swallowing luggage for a weekend getaway or a full set of golf clubs. Noise insulation is excellent, keeping the harsh external environment and heat at bay while still allowing the pleasant engine note to filter through when desired.

Safety

Safety is a paramount consideration for this model, which holds a 5-Star NCAP rating, the highest possible in its class. In the GCC's fast-paced multi-lane traffic, the standard Blind Spot Monitoring and Forward Collision Warning systems provide a vital extra layer of protection. The Adaptive Cruise Control is particularly useful for reducing driver fatigue on long desert stretches between cities, maintaining a safe distance from leading vehicles automatically. Lane Keep Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition further enhance the tech suite, ensuring the driver is always aware of their surroundings and local regulations. The braking system, featuring large Brembo calipers, provides immense stopping power that is resistant to the fade often caused by high ambient temperatures. Integrated stability control systems have been tuned to work seamlessly with the Four Wheel Drive, ensuring the car remains composed on both rain-slicked asphalt and gravel-strewn surfaces.

The bottom line

This 2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio QUADRIFOGLIO is a rare find for a GCC enthusiast who wants the performance of a Ferrari engine in a practical, low-mileage SUV body. Given its iconic color and nearly-new condition, it offers the best way to bypass the waiting list for a new order while securing a future classic.
