Summary

This 2024 Audi A5 Sportback represents a compelling near-new opportunity, featuring exceptionally low mileage for a vehicle in the GCC market. Finished in a sophisticated Burgundy, it offers a distinct aesthetic that holds its appeal well in the premium segment. As a 45 TFSI S Line, it balances sharp, athletic styling with a refined turbocharged engine that is perfectly suited for both daily Dubai commutes and high-speed highway stretches. The Sportback design provides the sleek silhouette of a coupe with the practical five-door access required for modern executive or family use. With its current mileage significantly below the regional annual average, this GCC-spec example remains under optimal mechanical health for long-term ownership.

This Car vs Other 2024 A5s

With just 7,644 km on the odometer, this A5 has seen significantly less use than the average 20,000 km typically recorded annually by drivers in the GCC. The Burgundy exterior is a rare and premium choice that distinguishes it from the more common white and silver fleet, offering strong visual impact at resale. Being a GCC-spec model, it ensures full compatibility with local authorized service centers and maintains a higher market value than imported regional equivalents.

45 TFSI S LINE SPORTBACK vs Lower Trims

The 45 TFSI S Line trim provides a significant performance jump over the base 40 TFSI, delivering 261 hp compared to the entry-level 201 hp. This specific trim adds the S Line exterior package with more aggressive bumper styling and standard sport suspension for improved handling on highway curves. Inside, you benefit from the Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus and the upgraded MMI touch display, features that GCC buyers prioritize for a modern cabin experience.

A5 vs Segment Rivals

The A5 Sportback leads rivals like the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe in cargo versatility thanks to its wide-opening hatchback liftback design, offering 465 litres of accessible space. Its standard Quattro all-wheel-drive system provides superior high-speed stability compared to rear-wheel-drive competitors during occasional heavy rain or dusty road conditions. Additionally, Audi's MMI interface is widely regarded for its ease of use in heavy stop-start traffic across major GCC cities.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this mild-hybrid powertrain averages approximately 8.8 L/100km, offering efficiency during long-distance drives between emirates. Audi maintains an extensive authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring parts are readily available. The A5 typically sees a depreciation rate of 12–15% annually in the GCC, performing well for a European luxury hatchback, especially in high-demand S Line configurations.

Performance & Capability

This model achieves 0–100 km/h in a swift 5.6 seconds, ensuring effortless overtaking on fast-moving highways like Sheikh Zayed Road. The 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission provides near-instant shifts, while the Quattro ultra-technology system optimizes fuel efficiency by engaging all-wheel drive only when traction demands change. With 370 Nm of torque available low in the rev range, the car feels responsive and agile in urban traffic.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is engineered for the GCC climate, featuring a high-performance multi-zone climate control system with dedicated rear vents to keep all five passengers cool in peak summer. Acoustic glazing helps isolate the interior from road noise during long desert highway hauls, while the S Line sport seats provide excellent lateral support. The 10.1-inch MMI touch display integrates seamlessly with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for effortless navigation.

Safety

This A5 is equipped with a comprehensive suite of safety technology, including Audi pre-sense front collision mitigation and adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assist, which is invaluable for regional highway driving. Standard features include blind-spot monitoring to assist with fast-moving multi-lane traffic and a 360-degree camera system for precision parking in tight urban spaces. Multiple airbags and electronic stability control come standard, providing a 5-star safety environment for all occupants.

The bottom line

Perfect for the professional seeking a balance of coupe styling and hatchback utility, this ultra-low-mileage S Line offers a like-new experience with the protection of GCC specifications.
