Summary

This 2025 Jetour T2 LUX offers a compelling alternative to established off-roaders, blending a rugged 'box-on-frame' aesthetic with the refined road manners of a modern unibody chassis. With 28,000 km, this vehicle is well within the typical mileage for its age in the GCC, and its Tan exterior remains a popular, high-resale choice for the region's climate. The LUX trim elevates the experience with high-end cabin technology and advanced driver assistance systems that make daily commutes through Dubai or Riyadh significantly more relaxed. It stands out from rivals by offering premium features like ventilated seats and a 540° camera system as standard, ensuring maximum comfort during intense summer heat. For a GCC buyer, the combination of a massive 10-year engine warranty and a robust authorized service network makes this a low-risk entry into the adventure SUV segment.

This Car vs Other 2025 Jetour T2s

With 28,000 km on the odometer, this T2 sits comfortably at the average annual usage mark for the GCC, where long highway commutes are standard. It has been driven enough to ensure all mechanical systems are properly broken in but remains fresh enough to benefit from the bulk of its extensive factory warranty. The Tan finish is a strategically strong choice for the local market, effectively hiding desert dust while aiding cabin cooling better than darker shades.

LUX vs Lower Trims

The LUX trim is a significant step up from the Comfort variant, specifically adding the 12-speaker Sony premium audio system and a full Level 2 ADAS suite. It also includes essential GCC luxuries such as ventilated front seats, a 540° panoramic camera with a 'transparent chassis' view, and larger 20-inch alloy wheels. These additions are highly valued in the used market, often resulting in a faster resale turnaround compared to base models.

T2 vs Segment Rivals

The Jetour T2 is frequently cross-shopped with the GWM Tank 300 and the BAIC B40, but it leads the pack in terms of digital integration and on-road refinement. Its 15.6-inch central screen and Snapdragon-powered infotainment offer a smoother user experience than most Chinese and Japanese competitors in this price bracket. While rivals may offer more traditional 4x4 hardware, the T2's 700 mm wading depth and intelligent XWD system provide more than enough capability for weekend wadi exploration and desert trails.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.0L turbo engine typically averages between 9.0 and 11.0 L/100km in mixed GCC driving conditions. Service intervals are set every 10,000 km, and with the authorized service network managed by major distributors like Elite Motors in the UAE, parts availability is reliable. While Jetour is a newer brand, the T2's distinctive styling and high equipment levels have helped it maintain a steady depreciation curve similar to more established mid-tier SUV brands.

Performance & Capability

The 254 hp turbocharged engine delivers a torque-rich 390 Nm, providing enough punch for confident highway overtaking and merging. Its BorgWarner-sourced intelligent 4WD system features multiple terrain modes, including a dedicated 'X-Mode' that automatically adjusts traction settings for sand or rock. A 220 mm ground clearance and short overhangs ensure it handles typical UAE off-road obstacles without the compromises of a heavy, truck-based platform.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat layout is designed for long-distance comfort, featuring high-quality leather upholstery and a massive panoramic sunroof that brightens the interior. Ventilated seats are a critical inclusion for the GCC summer, quickly cooling the cabin after the vehicle has been parked in the sun. Dual-zone climate control with dedicated rear vents ensures all passengers remain comfortable during long cross-border road trips.

Safety

Safety is a priority in the LUX trim, which comes equipped with a comprehensive Level 2 ADAS suite including Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, and Blind-Spot Monitoring. The 540° camera system is particularly useful on narrow city streets and for avoiding hidden rocks while driving off-road. High-strength steel construction and a full array of airbags provide peace of mind for family buyers.

The bottom line

This 2025 Jetour T2 LUX is the ideal choice for an adventurous professional who wants the rugged look of a premium off-roader without sacrificing modern technology or a long-term warranty. It represents a smart buy in the current market, offering a near-new experience with all the 'must-have' GCC features already included.
