Summary

This 2024 BMW X7 M60i xDrive offers a potent combination of performance and seven-seat luxury that is hard to match in the GCC market. With its white exterior providing strong resale value locally, this specific listing stands out for its high-output V8 engine and executive-level features. The M60i trim bridge the gap between a standard family SUV and a performance powerhouse, featuring specialized M-components that enhance handling on both city highways and long cross-country drives. For the GCC buyer, this vehicle represents one of the most technologically advanced and powerful ways to move a large family in absolute comfort.

This Car vs Other 2024 X7s

With 59,000 km, this X7 has been driven slightly above the GCC annual average for its model year, reflecting the high-mileage highway use typical for flagship SUVs in the region. However, as the performance-oriented M60i variant, it remains a rare find compared to the more common inline-six models. The white exterior is a strategic choice for the UAE and wider GCC, offering the best heat reflection and the highest resale liquidity in the local used market.

M60i XDRIVE vs Lower Trims

The M60i trim significantly upgrades the ownership experience over the xDrive40i by replacing the standard engine with a 4.4-litre V8 and adding essential performance hardware. It comes standard with M Sport brakes, an M Sport differential, and Integral Active Steering, which provides much-needed agility for a vehicle of this size. Inside, you benefit from a standard Harman Kardon Surround Sound system and the M-specific digital cockpit styling that isn't available on lower tiers.

X7 vs Segment Rivals

The BMW X7 M60i leads its primary rivals like the Mercedes-Benz GLS 580 and the Cadillac Escalade in terms of driver engagement and handling precision. While the Escalade offers more sheer volume, the X7's 83-litre fuel tank and sophisticated mild-hybrid V8 provide a superior balance of range and high-speed stability for long drives between Dubai and Riyadh. Its split-headlight design and curved display also give it a more contemporary tech edge over the current Lexus LX.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the M60i typically ranges between 12.2 and 12.9 L/100km on a combined cycle, though GCC city traffic may see these figures rise. Service intervals are managed by BMW’s Condition-Based Service (CBS) system, usually prompting an oil change every 10,000 to 12,000 km, with a robust authorized service network available across all major GCC cities. While European luxury SUVs experience faster initial depreciation than Japanese rivals, the M60i holds its value better than standard trims due to its high desirability among performance enthusiasts.

Performance & Capability

Powered by a 530 hp twin-turbo V8, this X7 launches from 0–100 km/h in a verified 4.7 seconds, offering sports-car acceleration in a 5-door SUV. The xDrive all-wheel-drive system and standard two-axle air suspension ensure maximum traction and a smooth ride even when fully loaded with seven passengers. Whether you are overtaking at highway speeds or navigating light gravel tracks on a weekend getaway, the M-tuned chassis provides confidence and poise that few large SUVs can replicate.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for the extreme GCC climate, featuring a powerful multi-zone automatic climate control system and high-quality insulation to keep the heat out. With seven seats, the interior is spacious enough for large families, while the BMW Curved Display (combining a 12.3-inch cluster and 14.9-inch screen) places all navigation and media controls within easy reach. The acoustic glass and premium materials ensure the cabin remains a quiet sanctuary even during high-speed highway cruising.

Safety

This X7 M60i is equipped with a comprehensive suite of safety technology, including BMW’s Active Driving Assistant with Frontal Collision Warning, Active Blind Spot Detection, and Lane Departure Warning. The 360-degree camera system and parking sensors are vital for maneuvering a vehicle of this footprint in tight urban spaces. Additionally, the standard adaptive LED headlights provide exceptional visibility during long desert highway drives at night.

The bottom line

This 2024 BMW X7 M60i is the ideal choice for the GCC resident who refuses to choose between seven-seat practicality and M-division performance. It is a high-spec flagship that is ready for immediate delivery, offering a significant performance advantage over standard luxury SUVs.
