Summary

This 2024 Tiggo 8 Pro Max represents a modern choice for families who prioritize technology and power without the premium price tag of European rivals. With its Blue exterior—a popular and respectable resale choice in the UAE—and manageable mileage for its age, it remains in its mechanical prime for long-distance cruising between emirates. The 2.0-litre turbocharged engine provides a level of responsiveness that is rare for a seven-seater in this segment, making highway overtaking effortless. For the GCC buyer, the balance of all-wheel-drive stability and a high-tech cabin makes it a versatile daily driver. Ownership is backed by a rapidly growing regional service network, ensuring peace of mind across the Gulf.

This Car vs Other 2024 Tiggo 8 Pro Maxs

With 43,763 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been used as a primary family commuter, sitting right at the expected annual average for the UAE's highway-centric driving culture. The Blue finish is a sophisticated alternative to the common white or silver, maintaining strong demand in the used market while standing out at the mall. Its mechanical condition reflects a vehicle that is just entering its best years, offering a significant saving over a showroom-floor purchase.

COMFORT vs Lower Trims

The Tiggo 8 Pro Max lineup starts with a high baseline, but opting for the Pro Max over the standard Tiggo 8 brings the potent 2.0-litre engine and All-Wheel Drive as standard. The cabin is centered around the massive 24.6-inch integrated dual-screen display, providing a digital experience usually reserved for luxury flagship trims. You also benefit from enhanced cabin materials and a more robust sound system that significantly improves the daily commute in heavy city traffic.

Tiggo 8 Pro Max vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the Kia Sorento or Mitsubishi Outlander, the Chery leads with a more aggressive 390 Nm torque figure, providing superior pulling power when fully loaded with seven passengers. Its infotainment integration is notably more modern than many Japanese competitors in this price bracket, offering a seamless dual-screen interface that feels a generation ahead. The dedicated rear cooling vents are specifically tuned for the high-ambient temperatures of the Gulf, ensuring the third row stays comfortable during the summer months.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this 2.0T AWD model typically ranges between 8.7L and 9.5L/100km, which is efficient for a seven-seat SUV during long Sharjah-to-Dubai highway runs. Chery's presence in the GCC has strengthened significantly with a massive new parts distribution hub in Jebel Ali, ensuring that maintenance downtime is minimized across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. While Chinese brands typically see higher initial depreciation than Japanese rivals, the Tiggo 8 Pro Max holds its value better than almost any other model in its class due to its high feature density and growing brand trust.

Performance & Capability

The standout figure is the 7.3-second 0–100 km/h sprint, which gives this SUV a surprising turn of speed for its size. The Four-Wheel Drive system provides added confidence on gravel tracks or during occasional rain-slicked city drives, while the 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission delivers smooth, rapid shifts. With 254 horsepower on tap, the vehicle feels light on its feet, whether you are navigating tight urban parking or maintaining cruising speeds on the E11.

Comfort & Cabin

The seven-seat layout is highly flexible, offering 117 litres of space with all rows up, expanding to a massive 739 litres when the third row is folded flat—perfect for large grocery hauls or staycation luggage. The interior features premium synthetic leather with diamond stitching, creating a luxury atmosphere that belies its price point. The air conditioning system is engineered for the GCC, utilizing N95-level filtration to keep the cabin air clean and exceptionally cool even in 45°C heat.

Safety

This trim comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite, including multiple airbags and a high-strength body structure that earned a 5-star rating in international testing. Standard features like the 360-degree camera system are invaluable for maneuvering a large SUV in tight Dubai parking spots. It also includes advanced driver aids like Tire Pressure Monitoring, which is essential for safety during long, high-speed desert highway journeys.

The bottom line

This is a smart opportunity for a family buyer to secure a high-performance, tech-heavy 7-seater that is still well within its prime and perfectly suited for the UAE's demanding driving conditions.
