Summary

This 2024 Exeed LX Comfort is a compelling entry into the premium crossover segment, balancing contemporary Chinese tech with a proven 1.5L turbocharged powertrain. As a GCC-spec model, it features cooling and air conditioning systems specifically optimized for the intense Middle Eastern summer heat. The blue exterior offers a refreshing alternative to the standard local palette, while the dual-screen digital cockpit provides a user experience usually reserved for higher segments. For a buyer in the Emirates or Saudi Arabia, this listing represents a way to secure a current-year model that has already handled its initial depreciation while remaining under comprehensive regional support.

This Car vs Other 2024 LXs

With 99,000 km, this LX has seen more highway use than the typical GCC annual average of 25,000 km, yet it remains a current-year model with active regional warranty support. This high-mileage profile for its age makes it an accessible entry point for those prioritizing a modern 2024 tech suite over a low odometer reading. The blue paint is a standout choice that retains respectable resale interest in a market dominated by white and silver SUVs.

Comfort vs Lower Trims

The Comfort trim serves as the essential entry point but still includes the high-definition 360-degree camera and dual 12.3-inch curved displays that define the Exeed brand identity. It provides the core digital experience and premium leatherette seating found in higher trims, while the 1.5L engine offers better fuel efficiency for daily city commuting compared to the 1.6T variants. Buyers get the same striking LED light signature and modern exterior styling without the added complexity of higher-tier driver assistance systems.

LX vs Segment Rivals

The LX competes directly with the MG ZS and Kia Seltos, leading the group with its 400-litre boot capacity and a cabin build quality that feels significantly more upscale. Its 51-litre fuel tank ensures decent range for long highway stretches between Abu Dhabi and Dubai. While rivals often reserve large digital cockpits for top trims, the Exeed includes its signature widescreen interface as a baseline, offering better tech-value for the money.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel economy is efficient for a crossover of this size, averaging approximately 15 km/L on the highway, making it an economical choice for cross-emirate commutes. As part of the Al Ghurair network in the UAE and with expanding representation in Saudi Arabia, authorized service centers are readily available across the major GCC hubs. Exeed models typically follow the depreciation curve of premium Chinese sub-brands, losing roughly 15-18% annually, but GCC-spec status helps maintain higher value than non-regional imports.

Performance & Capability

The 1.5L turbocharged engine produces 144 hp, providing linear power delivery through a smooth CVT that is ideally suited for stop-start traffic in Riyadh or Dubai. With a top speed of 180 km/h, it is perfectly capable of maintaining highway speeds with ease. While the front-wheel-drive setup is not meant for dune bashing, the 200 mm of ground clearance is ample for handling gravel tracks and unpaved weekend parking at beach clubs.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a standout feature for this segment, headlined by the twin 12.3-inch digital displays and a high-set center console that creates a cockpit-like feel. Standard air conditioning is engineered for the 45°C+ summer peaks, supported by dedicated rear vents to ensure passenger comfort during long family trips. The five-seat layout offers generous headroom and a flat rear floor, improving middle-passenger comfort on longer drives across the region.

Safety

Standard safety features on the Comfort trim include a 360-degree panoramic camera system, which is essential for navigating tight city parking and multi-lane highway merges. The LX is built with a high-strength steel cage and comes equipped with multiple airbags, traction control, and electronic stability programs. These active systems are specifically tuned to maintain composure on sandy or rain-slicked road surfaces common during GCC seasonal transitions.

The bottom line

For the tech-focused buyer who wants a current-year SUV with a premium cabin and regional warranty, this LX is a smart, budget-conscious choice that thrives in the GCC climate.
