Summary

This 2024 Exeed LX Comfort offers a highly competitive entry into the premium crossover market, specifically tailored for the GCC with its robust air conditioning and local software mapping. Despite being the base trim, it shares the same high-end dual-screen dashboard architecture and striking LED light signature as the flagship variants. The white exterior is the most practical choice for the region, effectively masking desert dust while ensuring the best possible heat reflection and resale stability. With its efficient 1.5L turbocharged engine, this model is perfectly suited for city professionals and small families seeking luxury tech without the high fuel overhead of larger SUVs. Ownership is backed by one of the strongest warranty programs in the UAE, providing long-term peace of mind for the second owner.

This Car vs Other 2024 Exeed LXs

With 94,000 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been used more extensively than the typical 20,000–25,000 km GCC annual average, likely reflecting frequent inter-emirate highway commutes. However, as a 2024 model, it benefits from the latest generation of Chery’s premium chassis tuning and updated interior materials. The white paint remains the most sought-after color for used SUVs in the UAE, directly supporting a faster turnaround at resale compared to darker tones.

Comfort vs Lower Trims

In the Exeed lineup, the Comfort serves as the gateway trim but remains exceptionally well-equipped compared to entry-level rivals. It includes the signature 24.6-inch total curved screen real estate, a 360-degree camera, and leatherette seating as standard equipment. While it skips the panoramic sunroof and adaptive cruise control found in the Luxury trim, it retains the essential premium feel with keyless entry, ambient lighting, and high-quality cabin insulation.

LX vs Segment Rivals

The Exeed LX competes directly with the MG RX5 and Geely Coolray, distinguishing itself with a more refined, European-inspired interior design and superior standard screen technology. While rivals often feel more utilitarian, the LX offers a 400-litre boot that balances daily grocery runs with family weekend trips. Its 51-litre fuel tank is well-sized for the 1.5L engine, providing a significant highway range for trips between Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Running Costs & Resale

Fuel efficiency is a highlight for this 1.5T powertrain, averaging between 7.0 and 8.0 L/100km depending on GCC stop-start traffic conditions. Authorized service centers are widely available across the UAE and Saudi Arabia through Al Ghurair and other major distributors, with standard service intervals every 10,000 km. While Chinese premium brands face steeper initial depreciation than Japanese rivals, the 7-year manufacturer warranty acts as a strong value floor in the local used market.

Performance & Capability

The 1.5-litre turbocharged engine delivers 144 hp and 230 Nm of torque, providing smooth and linear acceleration through a CVT optimized for fuel economy. It handles the 0–100 km/h sprint in approximately 10.5 seconds, making it adequate for urban maneuvers and steady highway cruising. With 200 mm of ground clearance, it easily manages high speed bumps and gravel access roads common in newer residential developments across the GCC.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is defined by its massive dual-screen setup and a minimalist center console that maximizes storage. Multi-zone climate control and dedicated rear vents ensure all five passengers stay cool during the extreme summer months, while the acoustic glass helps isolate the cabin from highway wind noise. The seating is ergonomically designed for long-distance comfort, making it a viable companion for cross-border road trips.

Safety

Safety is managed through a comprehensive suite of active and passive systems, including front and side airbags, electronic stability control, and hill-start assist. The high-definition 360-degree camera is particularly useful in tight urban parking scenarios, while the tire pressure monitoring system provides vital alerts during high-temperature highway driving. Standard ISOFIX points in the rear make it a secure choice for families with young children.

The bottom line

This 2024 Exeed LX is the ideal choice for a tech-focused buyer who wants a nearly new premium SUV experience with the security of a long-term dealer warranty.
